That would certainly work, I'd be trying this myself but I always finish my tubs before buying new ones so no old tubs on hand.
And if the results are the same as the aforementioned, what are we up against? Possible "secret ingredient change", possible alteration of proprietary ingredient amounts, which wouldn't need to be changed on the label, possible "defective" batch that I received, or a possible change in vendors from which ds gets one of their main, key ingredients from in bulk?

TMG use to be the first ingredient in original Craze, followed by creatine. Now it is flipped.
DS has said they switched the order of those two ingredients because some retailers said their customers were confused about what TMG was, and they thought is was a "TMG supplement." Uh, Ok....DS has also said that the amount of TMG and Creatine is equal, so they switched the order of ingredients so it wasn't as confusing....yeah, whatever.
I call bu!l****. But I don't blame them for spinning it this way.
Can you imagine the paranoia and potential drop in sales for the new version if they said, "Yes, we made a few minor tweaks to the formula. We lowered this and increased that. It doesn't feel quite the same as the formula that all of you fell in love with...but it's pretty close."
OP, I agree with you. Original batch of Craze felt different than the new berry lemonade stuff. I like the berry lemonade stuff....the "roughness" from the original is smoothed out, it still gives me wicked-insane focus and kills my appetite. But IMO, it's different than the first batch.

If they were intent on changing the stimulant blend, they could have easily done so without altering the size of the proprietary blend. Consumers would never even know because the label would still be the same.
So why in the **** would they change the dose of TMG or creatine monohydrate, make a new label, and risk scrutiny such as yours, when the label would not even need to be changed for a stimulant alteration to take place?
-
read above ??
the same exact lable no? the first 2 ingredients are interchangable. (same amount)
-
Now that the idea is planted in your head that newer batches don't work as well, you've probably ruined the supplement for yourself. I've had tubs of Craze since they first came out and have had some isolated incidents of it not "hitting" as hard as normal but I chalked that up to daily circumstances and diet, but overall the supplement functions today just as it did in the beginning at about 1.25 scoops per dose for me.

Well sir, you hit the nail on the head. This is the most probable out of the plausible causes I could think of. That they simply changed the amount of some ingredients in the proprietary profile, but stll equally it out to the overal amount that was in the original, making it so nothing on the label would have to be changed but the effect would be altered. It explains why the effect of both old and new are "similar" but not equal. The new craze is "usable" but comparing it to the old one is just sad. The other probable, but less plausible cause than a proprietary change is a change in vendor from where they get a bulk ingredient, such that the new vendor may sell an inferior product compared to the original vendor in terms of quality of said ingredient. This as well explains why the newer craze seems like a "dirtier" buzz than the old one that feels clean and euphoric. To be honest, the new craze feels like they added more caffeine. But the dirtier buzz could also be from a proprietary blend change also, so I don't know.
-
My point is that changing a proprietary blend can occur at any time as long as the order of weighted ingredients is not altered. So it makes no sense for DS to put TMG behind creatine with the intention of changing the stimulant portion of the product.

Oh it must be the N-Benzyl PEA.
Anywho... This speculative conundrum can be easily solved by sending me a tub of each for objective test driving.

This would be true if I hadn't considered this already. It wasn't until 2 weeks into the tub of the lemonade when I noticed that my excuse of "tolerance" incidents were ironically being claimed on only days when using the lemonade and that one every grape day I felt exactly thesame euphoric buzz I had already felt. In otherwords, my discovery of the weakened response was something I did blame on tolerance at first, and from that I figured the rest of my craze days, if bad could be blamed on me thinkin I was becoming tolerant to craze until it was a grape day and all of a sudden this "tolerance" was diminished.
-
OP, I too have noticed that the lemonade flavored craze doesn't work like my grape used to. I noticed this before any threads like these popped up but now that i see that more people feel the same way, maybe I'm not making stuff up. I still have a little bit of my old grape left, tomorrow morning, upon waking up, I will take 2 scoops of grape and I will post what I feel--if I even feel anything. And trust me i know what that rush of energy that craze used to give me feels like.

I'm pretty sure it is because the new tubs do not contain n-benzyl-2-phenylethylamine. You should send me tubs of each so I can perform more accurate biological test on both. It will take 2 complete tubs for me to do so.
He's not ron.
TY Iceman..
All i know is this guy Ron seems to be a douche bag and didnt appreciate the comparison

Well hopefully if ds wants to keep some of their customers they will "secretly" change the formula back to what it was, in a similar fasion in how they changed it the first time. Obviously some people don't notice a difference and some do. Just sayin, the recent reviews where people are wondering where the hype came from in the first place runs parallel with the rest of my evidence as well.

hmm i still have 2.5 of the originally labeled stuff....

and BOOM! there it is. troll thread complete. one of the better ones I might add. start off by saying how great the stuff is...then slowly twist it into some devious evil conspiracy by the evil doers at DS. I almost want to rep you. well done.

Hahahahah this seriously made me laugh. I can see where you would think I'm a troll, but I'm really not. I actually like ds as a company and what I think they did is not "wrong" in my opinion. I'm not saying they changed the ingredents but I do believe they altered the amounts, and they are not obligated to announce that. I just wish they'd change it back, because the difference is obvious.

I wonder if the responses in this thread would be different if the thread starter was a reputable member...

Doesn't the forum have enough threads without adding to it? I'm really puzzled as to why you care so much, as it's not like this is your site or that you get any direct or indirect financial gain from it.It's just a different color to see you wearing - the former chill member who was a part of the SMF and had no issue with rustling other companies jimmies by using their product as kitty litter is now suddenly looking to dethrone every current and former mod as the hardest screw to ever walk a turn. Are you ok, bro?

Undercover shillin like a villain. :D

They probably altered the proprietary blend so it wasn't so potent when all the law suit stuff was going on, not only with craze but jack3d, etc. They were blaming deaths on it, banning it in the military, banning it in some countries, etc. I doubt they wanted to risk any bad outcomes from people taking it and just lowered the amount of some of the more effective ingredients.

Few aussie blokes are experiencing the same effects, They think its the Color in it FD&C Red #40.

There is more flavoring in the berry lemonade so a scoop is a heaping scoop not a level scoop. This may be making a difference, but other than this the formula hasn't changed since it was released last November.

U know what robboe its interesting u say that because I was going to ask u about one of ur posts on a diff thread where u mentioned that u take a heaping scoop of the lemonade and regular scoop of grape but u didn't say why, but now I know. Thank u. Ill try it tomorrow. The problem is how do u accurately decipher "heaping scoop" from 1.25 scoops? Seriously, I wouldn't ask this about any other supplement other than craze given its potency even a .25 scoop difference.
