Take them a little while to find you.
I concur....
In a criminal case, or a traffic case, if you do not show up in court the court makes either of two decisions. A. Many will mail you a notice to appear to explain why you should not be held in contempt of court. If you do not show up for that, a bench warrant(bring his body to the court, aka lock him up until we can get to him, no bond). If you live in the jurisdiction fo the court, or even in the state, expect to live looking over your shoulder. One man I know gets hired to get 'Joe Whoosis' arrested on his bench warrant. The police may not have time to work all the bench warrants, but often times someone is REALLY interested in getting your butt in jail, and they hire a man(not a police officer) to make that happen.
In a civil case do not appear, get the letter from the court, and show up or else. Any idea how embarrassing it is to get "unqualified" for a job because you were too big an iss to show and take responsibility?
"Job issues" appear to be a recurring theme with OP.

If the man comes to round you up at work... it may not go over big with management. All depending on what you do and what security clearances you have. Any felony conviction, I'm out. Arrests and misdemeanors will come up at my periodic security checks/updates.

Sorry about the typo's I'm talking about a Background check for work.
Even borderline flakey credit can ruin your chances for a job if it shows up on a background check. It has happened to several people I know. So an FTA can sure as hell mess you up.
Just appear for your court date(s). Problem solved.
tnx for advice

Fugitive! Kidding. But, just tell them to not run a background check. /thread
Its more difficult than you think. Not all court records state level can be run through a computer check system. Quite a few companies send a private investigator to physically check at state level. Federal is a little different. They would have to check the state that you didnt show up in. Its not as easy as you think. If it was me I wouldnt be worried about cause I wouldnt mention that state in the interview process.
FYI OP, I have fired people for lying about their legal history.
I think it would depend on the job. General laborer probably not, financial field maybe, ,medical maybe, legal absolutely.

I have a couple of smudges on my permanent record (remember that??). But I took care of them the right way and if anyone HAS to know, I tell them.
