Best workout gloves?
Hi all,
I've been using some Nike Dri-Fit workout gloves in the gym and they aren't doing a great job of protecting me. I am still getting calluses where my palm meets my fingers.
To be honest, I am not sure if these are even proper workout gloves. They may be for golf... I can't find them anywhere online.
So...I see BB.com has some gloves for sale, for cheap. That's fine. But I would really like to get some good gloves here. Can anyone that has tried at least a few different kinds provide some recommendations?
Thanks!

I hear nothing but good things about ocelots.

I have seen that those have superior user reviews on Amazon. Thanks for the tip.

No sweat. I've only lifted with them once, but I don't like gloves for some reason.

Nike gloves suck, they fall apart quick. Ive been using Harbinger's with the heavy duty reinforced palms and they are the best glove ever. They run $25 but the money you spend now will get made up when you dont have to replace them every year.

i use harbingers with wrist wraps got rid of most of my wrist and forearm pain

I've seen them on some stores for $10-15, lots of good reviews on them.

When I first started lifting, I'd use all kind of fancy weightlifting gloves. Turns out, none of them really prevented development of callouses. So I stopped buying gloves, and the callouses never got worse. My take on gloves is that they're not necessary. I'll use straps for really heavy back days though.

I use gloves by Harbinger. There great and have no tears/holes. I looked on bodybuilding.com for them and these look they are the ones. http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/gl/130.html

If I dont use gloves I get really bad calluses on my hands..So basically I wear gloves everytime I workout..
I have Nike gloves and yeah they do wear away fast offering little protection after a couple months...

Callouses are a bad thing now?
Why the hell would your lady friend mind you having good tough working hands?
My GF has never said a thing and I pride myself on decent callouses.

Quit being a pussy; calluses are formed for a reason called adaptation. You guys must not have ever done hard labor in your life.....
I can also assume that you don't deadlift as I don't see how you can even DL with some sweaty ass palms.
