Why am I always hungry after working out?
So I'm 18 years old, and I've pretty much always been that one really skinny dude with a really fast metabolism. I started working out about a month ago, and lately it seems I just can't stop eating. I can't go more than an hour without eating something. I'm beginning to wonder if it's worth it to work out if it means eating this damn much. I have to say though, it has made me a much less picky eater, which is definitely a good thing. Maybe I should just go for stamina rather than strength, I'd probably make a better runner then a body-builder.
This is my workout routine so far, in case it's relevant:
Dumbbell Curls 3x10
Sit-ups 3x30
Lunges 3x10
half push-ups 3x10
I workout in the mornings of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. As soon as I build up the strength to do full push-ups, I will. Also I lift 15 lb Dumbbells.
I also have a few protein shakes, as well as a tub of Protein powder, which I usually drink after working out.
Any advice would be appreciated.
