Ectomorph Calories
Hey guys. I've been working out for a few weeks now and I'm seeing some gains. I've gained 2 pounds of muscle in 3 weeks. I know that I'm an ectormorph (6 ft, 135 pounds) so I've been trying to eat a lot of food. I haven't been tracking my calorie intake(which I'll start soon), but I've been eating more than I'm used to. I've been aiming to get about 3200 cals a day, but I don't think I'm getting anywhere near that. I also have been using Whey Mass Gainer and it helps to get some of the calories, but I'm still short. Because I'm lacking in calorie intake, would it be okay to drink a little bit of soda every now and then so that I can intake some of the calories I'm missing out on? Or is this a bad idea? Thanks guys.

****ty idea , its pure sugar. cook your food with extra olive oil , this is also a high calorie intake.

Would not recommend. Try drinking more milk, eating more nuts, like peanuts or whatever and mixing your gainers with some healthy oil, it does wonders.

I'd like to make a stupid question.I take my protein with milk,adding oil wouldn't make it taste bad? Or do you add oil with something else?
Still a big noob in dieting :s :D

I assumed the soda method was bad, I just wasn't sure. I'll stay away from the soda and give your suggestions a try. Thanks guys!

I take my shakes with milk too (tastes ****ing good), if you are not adding insane amounts of oil you should'nt notice the taste.

If you're an active 19 year old, 135 lbs, and 6' I wouldn't worry about it too much. In the short term if you ingest too much junk food you will just begin to feel bad. Over the long term, a period of months, you will start gaining a lot of fat in addition to muscle and begin to look like the Pillsbury Dough Boy. To maintain a nice physique over the long term requires a commitment to nutrient dense foods (unprocessed food).
