Yeah but i bet that a Phil Heath with Branch genetics wouldn't go as far as Branch went in the sport. Branch is a Warrior and if he does all these forced reps is because he need it.
Seriously, you children are starting to get annoying. Look at this **** and tell me it's bad genetics

LOL wtf you doing posting a pictures of Branch from 1230 standing by himself . You can not prove your point by doing this...of couse Dude has no average genetics but we're talking about pros and not regular humans.
-
Also you might as well scratch Crossfit and put Branch instead and this would still remain the same:

I hope that with what he is doing,
1)He is happy
2)He does not seriously hurt himself (debilitating injuries that cripple him/organ problems).

Does train like a window licker though

Translation = he gonna screw up even more as time passes.
I would rather watch perfect form before training back:
One thing i noticed, for example Jay Cutler trains back in a similar way than Branch. Alot of swinging and jerking, alot of momentum, etc. And he has a pretty weak back as well.
EDIT: Major facepalm at Warren's deadlifts... lol
Jay uses pretty good form imo.

What a stupid thing to say. Just because Phil doesn't throw weights about doesn't mean he isn't training hard. Remind me how many times Phil has been out with injuries compared to Branch? I'm not bashing Branch because he's one of the best but come on.

blaring kid rock? metroflex i am disappoint. jesus...

To be fair, Phil gets big just looking at weights.
-
sloppy form begs the question is the fire still present?most of this is simply going thru the motions, maybe if he trained natural he would have to rely on the form more than that celltech?
Jay uses pretty good form imo.
Not on back and arms, though. His form is pretty good in all the other bodyparts though.

Put Branch using that type of form Phil does and he couldn't lift nearly as much as he lifts swinging like a mongo...

that statement goes for half the *******s i see benching in the gym, either they have their backs arched so much on flat bench they are pretty much doing a decline or they are bouncing it off their chest like a trampoline...id love to go up to those ****s and say how about u put ur feet up on the bech dont arch ur back and then lets see u lift half that weight

Somewhere Dorian Yates is cringing at the thought of this video.
Not a fan of this guy.

when was this? incredible build here.
-
I'm sure I'm the minority here, but I find Branch's training vids incredibly boring. If I want to see jerky, horrible form, I just go to my own gym.
-

Inb4 shattered elbows since he can't throw the weight around.

who cares about his form hes still massive

He gets the last laugh though. Arnold Classic Champion > forum warriors.
-
He gets the last laugh though. Arnold Classic Champion > forum warriors.
Ronnie might qualify for that, but Branch would be one very beat up old man once he retires. Is that a win some would argue.
-
Meh, you guys have no idea how he feels those movements. No one in here has won the Arnold or even became a pro.... So sit back and let it be what it is.
-
Why do people care so much how this guy trains? You don't have to watch these vids...
-
The only difference being the meatheads you refer to usually look like sh*t and barely ever improve.
Theres a couple at my gym who look like clowns when they train but if they were bigger and looked better than me i honestly wouldnt moan. As it happens they look awful so i slag em off all the time : D
As for Branch i think he looks sick and trains very hard. Im a big fan.
I agree and I am a Branch fan, even though I wince watching his training.
What amazes me is that someone who trains like Branch has the body he does. The meatheads at the gym do the same sloppy form and get nowhere. Of course, they likely aren't dieting and doing cardio like an IFBB pro, either.

What a dumb statement! That's not ignorant, that's just dumb!
Knowledge is not co-related to how you look or how big you are... That's such a meat-head line of thought, no wonder bodybuilders are labeled walking retards.
Plus, i highly doubt 99.9% of the population wants to be a pro or trains to be one... Once again, retarded thinking.
Lyle McDonald is the most knowledgeable person in the world when it comes to human performance physiology, anatomy, biochemistry, biomechanics, all the exercise related to bodybuilding/fitness, etc. You name it! Guess what, he doesn't even look like he lifts.
Some people just don't wanna be walking pharmacies.
Alan Aragon, arguably the best nutritionist in the world, knows more about nutrition and dieting than any IFBB dietist/guru, backs everything up with scientific research, yet he just looks like a regular guy.
Some of you guys are so dumb, it's just incredible.

First i didn't say Phil isn't training hard
Second, i do believe that Branch training harder than Phil.

Lol, i dont think it has totally to do with cardio and dieting.
There is a kid at my gym, probably at 20-25% bf, weighing 180-190, that does the most painful looking Military press for "reps" at 225.... He looks.... TERRIBLE... Over time, this type of stuff does not help the average guy get bigger... Branch is not the average guy though

arching your back is the correct way of doing a bench press. ass and shoulderblades needs to touch the bench (obviously) and shoulder blades should be squeesed together. bouncing on the chest is bad ofcourse, just like touch-and-go is a bad way of doing deadlifts.
