Like just brute strenght, who would win in a fist fight? No shield, no web, or anything. Science-Tech or Spider-Tech basically.
A Navy navigator is shot down over enemy territory and is ruthlessly pursued by a secret police enforcer and the opposing troops. Meanwhile his commanding officer goes against orders in an attempt to rescue him.
edit: Spidey, due to his better acrobatics and spider sense.
Spider-man wins.
America! Stars and Stripes!
ill ask my friend that happens to of read every comic known to man (srs) and report back
that one that has actual super powers.
captain america
strong nerd thread
notsureifsrs. CA easily in pure strength noob
Spider-man is stronger.
Captain America is regualr really strong, but Spider-Man has the proportional strength of a spider.
In a fist fight, Spider man would probably win. On top of his strength, he's really agile and fast. He also has the Spider sense thing.
Captain Spider would win.
a pitbull
idk i bet spiderman could squat lower then captian america though dat dere spiderflexibilty
and Spiderman def out pullups capt america
Captain Mexico
Texted my comic book friend, he says capt has more base strength, but spiderman is more agile, faster and has that spider sense
edit: he also just texted me saying it depends on the writer, sometimes the writer will alter their strength..
Spiderman strength obviously varies based on the story arc/writer but generally but he is able to in all stories lift and throw a car and his general upper limits has been 20 tons. Captain America's strength once again varies based on the arc/writer he is generally shown having peak human strength being of the Olympic level athlete for running, weight lighting, gymnastics, etc his upper limits have been shown being able to bench press 1200 pounds.
Pure strength Spiderman is way stronger hands down. However hand to hand combat Captain America has trained Spiderman in martial arts.
spiderman has more brute strength. captain america would win in a fist fight. you're asking two questions in the OP, OP.
captain america has the max capacity strength for a human, but spiderman is a bit stronger than the best humans
You asked two questions OP
Cap is physically stronger
Spiderman would win in a fist fight since he is more agile, faster and has dat der spider sense
cant spiderman lift a fire truck...thought I remember seeing him do it in the 90's cartoon series on fox.
In the comics, spiderman is able to lift 20 tons. Highly doubt CA is able to do that. Also Spiderman was able to knock out t-rex with one punch
Spiderman.
Spiderman could lift cars and **** lol. This isn't even debatable.

Ok I'm going to answer you (srs)
When it comes to pure strength, spiderman is supposed to be 10 times stronger than normal fit man, he has lifted cars and even thrown cars at people.
Captain America is not as physically strong, he is about 5 times stronger than normal fit man. Captain America was seen pressing 500lbs in one issue.
Spiderman and Captain America fought each other during the Civil War story arc when Spiderman sided with Iron Man and Iron Man upgraded his suit to have robotic tentacles.
During the fight Captain was kicking Spiderman's ass, but Spiderman decided to keep his distance and attack with his tentacles, at which point, the fight became even. So if Spiderman did not have his tentacles, he would have lost.
Captain America is also described as one of the top hand to hand combatant, and Spiderman is not.

I'd say it's probably a stalemate (srs). . .
urban youth
both pussies.
Let me explain this in terms of the comics:
Captain America is the peak of HUMAN physical conditioning. Meaning, the absolute epitome of strength, agility, reflexes, etc at the highest HUMAN maximum potential.
Spider-Man has the proportionate strength of a spider. In Amazing Spider-Man #539, Spider-Man was shown to pick up a Jeep and throw it 3 stories high up at a sniper that had just shot his aunt. It has also been noted in the comics that his resting strength is 10 tons. I.E. not straining, no momentum, just a pure static lift.
No human, no matter how much peak conditioning they had could ever throw a jeep.
Spider-Man is much stronger than Captain America in terms of brute strength.
In addition to being much physically stronger than Captain America, when you factor in Spidey's reflexes, agility, and spider-sense, he would demolish Captain America.

I think u're confusing Captain America with Batman who is supposed be the peak of HUMAN physical conditioning. Captain America is not natural because he was made this way through the SuperSoldier serum, which not only increases his reflexes, speed, healing ability, but also increases his strength. He is beyond peak physical conditioning.

Capt. can't compare.. no contest.
Captain Morgan.

The super soldier serum gave Cap the epitome of human physical potential. The more dangerous variants that also resulted in physical deformities and mental illness (like the serum that was given to the Red Skull) far exceeded human potential. But the formula that was given to Cap was only human maximum potential.
Spidey is definitely stronger, faster and more agile. He's also been trained by Iron Fist who is one of the top fighters.
Cap is one of the best hand-to-hand fighters in the world.
It could go either way really, but on paper, Spidey should be able to beat Cap. Cap would probably win because he's Captain America (just like no one really beats Batman or Supes) whereas Spider-man is typically used as a punching bag. But Spider-man going all out would be tough for anyone to beat.
Spider-man beat a bunch of X-men (including Storm, Prof X, and Wolverine) single-handedly.

It only becomes "maximum human potential" when he is given the SuperSoldier serum. Without the serum, this "potential" does not exist.

Where the hell did you get the info that he is trained by Iron Fist? He teamed up with Iron Fist plenty of times, but Iron Fist never spend a lengthy period of time training him.
And for all of you fanboys that want to read the comic of Spiderman vs Captain AMerica, it's Amazing Spider-Man 534

Good comic reference.
When spidey is pissed, he is much more than a formidable opponent. He seems to hold back a lot, i.e. "great power comes with great responsibility", doesn't want to hurt anyone, etc.

Happened in the past few years. He lost his spider-sense and decided he had to learn how to fight w/o it.

This is 80's Spiderman, back then the X-Men were not considered as strong and were not as popular. Since then X-Men's stock grew significantly, especially for Wolverine. Wolverine is unkillable nowadays. I mean they kept his skeleton in a vat of acid and all of his flesh dissolved, and once his skeleton was taken out, he regenerated his flesh and killed everybody.
Happened in the past few years. He lost his spider-sense and decided he had to learn how to fight w/o it.
Yeah Iron Fist helped him improve his reflexes to compensate for the loss of his Spider-Sense but he did not train him to improve his fighting style.
Captain would win. He is a trained soldier with years of tactical training involving weapons and hand to hand scenarios.
Spider Man is not.
Both are equal in strength.
Who gives a **** OP

edit: damn, that shows a comic but in spanish..
my money is on spidey
damn, **** got real on the second page....

spiderman, when he's not fuking around, can lift up to 90 tons. he has the strength to lift buildings but he usually focus on being angile and fast capt a and he get locking in the octogon theres no way cap could match his speed and focused strength
mind you, spiderman kicked hulks ass a few times

You're right, it was actually Shang Chi that taught him.
