I didn't think I was that close, but I must've been, because one of my hiking companions sent me this photo:

zoom, making objects closer than they appear ;) :D
so I have a dilemma. I have too many benches! should I sell the ironmaster bench? i'm going to be using the parabody flat bench for inside. use the nebula one outside (was going to be the ironmaster one)
I already sold one ironmaster bench cause I had 2. I don't know what to do!
If I was you, I'd sell all your stuff and with the money buy a few top notch pieces. You don't need all that stuff
Oh yeah and I almost forgot....ship me that magnum squat machine while you are at it :D

only really top notch things I need left are ivanko plates, bumpers, the Excalibur fitness bar (and perhaps an eleniko) ironmaster 120 pound add on kit, and a full blown reverse hyper and GHR/GHD. i'm great with the fold up reverse hyper (since it is a westside specced one and feels just like the real thing) and my legend floor GHR pad. that and the funds to build a bigger shed. that will be my next goal with flipping, saving up the funds for my huge shed. I will wait till I have enough for shed and the endless pool so they can be done at the same time. i'll also get a final power rack that will be the last i'll ever need ;).
somewhere further down the line a rope machine like osu has, and a treadwall, but that's way down the line.
I can pretty much do it all with everything I have now. :).

Holy S***!!! Craigslist would have a meltdown if all of that came on the market at once. :P :D
Srsly though Matey, I have to agree with Skid. You've got enough money stored up in those assets to get some real high end gear, and maybe claim a bit of space back.
Edit; Oh, and I want first dibs on the punchbags. :D

I'm just sayin...why not sell all that mid-grade stuff and get a badass rack & 0-90 bench and maybe a GHD and some quality plates. You'd probably have enough to do that.
That's what I would do.

I have often thought just for s&g's to put all my stuff on craigslist and write $5 ;). haha im not that cruel though :)
like this? ;)
I would take that bench apart and do a total restoration on it. Sand, repaint, new pads, and general clean-up. I would not use it outdoors. I really like that bench and it will be even better if you get the parts for the decline.

I totally agree with this. Matrix, you said you have an abundance of benches; i'd elect a different one to be the outdoors bench and put some $$ into restoring the nebula

well aside from the tear on the top pad (which is really just the outer blue layer, the underlayer is intact) that's all that's wrong with it. I would paint it though just cause I don't want to be white. more a hammertone grey/silver (darker grey, whatever that is). it wouldnt' be used outside per say but inside the shed with the rack. so it would be protected from the rain.
have to use the parabody one inside due to it having the leg/ext/curl and preacher curl pad. already took apart my legcurl/ext bench and preacher curl bench (to make more room).
Hey KB, with all of the amazing photos that you have,, I'm surprised that you haven't uploaded an avi of some sort.

Need to improve my photography skills first. ;)
Well, actually... while I do take a lot of photos, I take very few photos of myself.
I've been thinking of doing a shot using a wide angle lens. The camera will be looking down on me holding a kettlebell above my head, such as after a press or a snatch. The wide angle lens will make the bell, and my hand look very big. My face, looking up, will appear to be pretty far away. Don't know how it'll turn out, but that's what I'd like to try. I was only half joking about my photography skills. I do a lot of landscapes which turn out okay, but I don't do a lot of indoor photography. I do have some speedlights, but I haven't spent enough time with them yet to have gotten good at using them.

Just one?
Congrats on that double bell overhead work. I've never even considered getting pairs before because all I can picture are fractured tibias and torn rotator cuffs. :o

Good session mate, such a good use of the space in your gym. Hows about starting a log on here in the workout section? Also, where did you get your posters from?
You said log. . . . .

ah id be way too lazy to keep up with a log tbh, i might though when i actualy get a better way of recording than my laptop webcam on my bench :) reading through a little of yours showed me how little actual mobilty work i do, need to catch up on that!
the posters are actualy just images off google, (5/3/1 is made of a few put together) , have a a3 laser printer at home that cost next to nothing to print, wouldnt do it with an inkjet lol still need to get more printed out to cover it completly.

cool, you have enough room.
That's pretty tight. Hey did you ever finish your safety squat bar?
It wouldnt' be used outside per say but inside the shed with the rack. so it would be protected from the rain.
If the shed isn't climate controlled you can still get rust. It is a shame that you can't keep that bench inside. That is an extremely high quality bench.
How much do those Nebula benches normally go for used? I know Matrix got it for nothing but I wonder what would be a reasonable price. Some guy is asking $900 for one which seems a bit ridiculous since that's the original retail price. And I think Rogue makes them for a under $900.

+1 beautiful bench...Id paint it flat black like the Rogue stuff.

goung to be redoing that, shouldve drilled the holes for the handles first, didnt really think it through and now its really hard to clamp it properly, ill have it done in a few days if this weather decideds to get any better.

Nflan113 should try to pick that up as it is in his area. Dude has some new Intek pro style dbs and some other gear for sale as well.
