This has gotten me pumped for the game next week that ill be at.
anyone know where i can order a jones jersey and have it shipped within the week that is not crazy expensive?
tough call breh. dont know
i need to get a new jersey actually (still got my abraham). i think im a william moore kinda guy
I was skeptical about Hester and his price tag but he's made me a believer.
yeah i would say that many were. nobody knew that this dude was a legit receiver. hell, Ryan even said it.
hester has to feel really good about this because as a great return man, you would still like being regarded as good at your actual position
not sure what happened with the bears, but hester is dangerous and clearly has the offense down. kicked out wide and still did a great job
-
I never thought I'd become such a huge Hester fan in three games. That game was just what we neeeded. And now a long week of rest before the Vikings.
3-1 staring us in the face. I can dig it.
-
Always been a HUGE Hester fan, was so pumped when he signed. Had a jersey on order as soon as he got his number.
Shame on you brahs who didn't like the signing.
I was skeptical about Hester and his price tag but he's made me a believer.
Yeah, exactly the same. It is these games that make me appreciate how great it is that he is on our side, rather than facing him. Was initially skeptical given our deficiencies, but he has shown himself. His apparent receiving greatness is helpful as well..
-
I wish we could always come out with that much fire and determination. What a night and day difference the way they showed up in the last two games.
I honestly dont know what to feel. On one end that was an AMAZING performance but then on the other end it was against a team that lost to two back up QB's. I dont know if we are that good or if the bucs are that bad.
Hard to feel confident with the team when the looked that bad VS the bangals ... looking forward to seeing us play in next few games.
-
Agreed with everyone about how nice of an addition Hester has been. Looking back I feel like Chicago really underutilized him because he looks great on his routes and chemistry with Matt. Love giving him the speed sweeps that were previously reserved only for Julio as well. Now there are 2 legit burners that defenses have to respect.

Holy fukc I'm so sick of them making rookie QBs look like Peyton Manning.
The big plays on defense are old too, already 4 huge ones. The game plan is awful for them, coverage fukcin sucks. Never been a fan of Nolan.
-
defense along with Nolan should wear a brown paper bag over their heads for the plane ride home.
Disappointing. Second time we make a Rookie QB look like Aaron Rodgers out there.
-
There is soooo much that I want to bitch about but don't think my keyboard can take the pounding.
Mike Smith calling timeouts in the first half when our defense hadn't done a damn thing to warrant him thinking they would make a stop and give it to the offense resulting in 3 points. Nolan/Smith constantly dropping our pass rushers into coverage instead of you know....rushing the damn passer. Having Kroy cover Jennings, the lack of tackling, the gaping holes for a ****ty RB to moon walk through.
I've never in my life seen a defense play as bad as this one does. Middle of the field ALWAYS open, RB's and TE running wild underneath EVERY WEEK. Zero pressure on the QB and not ever any batted passes. Now we have like 4 starters injured, all I saw today was flashbacks of 2013. 2012 is just a distant and faded memory because this team with this defense is 8-8 at best. Roddy is starting to look old as phuck too.

Sooooooo yall still like this Run D?

I listened to the game while I was driving home yesterday and I knew it was bad, but when I got back and actually looked at the box score.....................
J. McKinnon 18 CAR - 135 YDS - 7.5
M. Asiata 20 CAR - 78 YDS - 3 TD
Wow.

Defense? What does that even mean?

The entire NFC South is asking the same question.

Too true its a silver lining. At this point we look like division winners at 8 wins.

Good Lord. I cant watch Atlanta Sports teams any more. Thankfully the BRaves wont have a playoff disappointment this year. The Falcons might make the worst playoff team in history.
-
Not the start to the season that everyone wanted to see. I fully expect the Bears to come into the dome, go down something like 3 - 24 in the first half, and then launch a furious comeback in the second half to win 31 - 27 after the Falcons offense completely stalls out.
At least mom made pizza rolls................

At least Shembo is starting at ILB now....
At least Shembo is starting at ILB now....
Shembo and I were teammates in middle/high school. Everyday in football practice I lined up against him as Tackle vs D-end. I like to think I helped shape him as a player (haha). We all knew the dude would be playing on Sunday since 10th grade. Genetics of peace.

Ive watched Shembo quite a bit. Dude does too much reading the backfield without moving towards the ball. Not sure if I'm happy about this.

Bartu has been terrible and Shembo is the better pass rusher between the two. Then again our coaching staff doesn't ever seem to use pass rushers to rush the passer.

"Nolan said he would like to use Prince Shembo more on the edge as a rusher" @vxmcclure23
Lets see if it works out

Well not many of us were sold on Mile Smith to start this year so at least we can get a new coach out of this.... even though we also need a new GM...

I could see TD fired and Smith retained but I'm not hoping for it.

DC for a decade
Top 5 worst defense
Smith has had his defense in the bottom five of third down conversions his whole tenure. The fukc gives??
-
sht i think blank would be so pissed that both TD and smith would be gone.
this dude has a new stadium being built and he has to ensure that asses are in those seats when it opens.
it's just unreal how the defense has gona neglected for so long. and it REALLY sucks because that hageman pick was fcking horrible.
based on hard knocks cox takes responsibility for it, but i think it ultimately falls on the shoulders of TD.
you go after an interior guy when we have had a glaring weakness on the edge for years. i know it's hindsight, but we could use the hindsight excuse for everything in life
it was known that he would be a project im sure, which should have heavily influenced the decision.

brb get big run stuffing DE
brb get big NT
brb draft big pass rushing end in 2nd
brb get ready for 3-4
brb run some fugged up 4-2-5

I still like the Julio pick years back, but at the same time we cant stop a ****ing toddler running the football. I'm so tired of Georgia sports teams underachieving on everything.
