Is it possible to get through Monday unscathed?
Currently trying to get myself up for a 10k. It's pretty cold in Shdbury at the moment.

Unfortunately Sudbury is one of those cold places, colder than others just because of it longitude and latitude :)

I was flusterf**ked today.....mid shift on Monday's have to start at 8am now so Monday has to be an off day from lifting (I won't go after work, I know me) and it threw my whole day off.....

I can't train in the evening's either.
Today was just nuts at the office, and I have a temp that seems to go full retard when it's least convenient (not that it's ever convenient) but the good news is I interviewed a suitable full time replacement Friday and I'm hopeful the second round of interviews goes well so I can say goodbye to her.

Darn, too bad I did not live there :(
Just out of curiosity from talking to a couple guys on another board. But whats everyone pay for their chicken per lb? Another cannuck is paying far less for his chicken at costco (unless hes lying), i thought costco would have standardized prices

Costco here is 13.99/kilo. I usually buy mine up the street at a local shop where they always have it for 3.99/lb or 8.78/kilo
Grocery stores are nuts for prices, unless it goes on sale for 3.99/lb

I have no choice but to train in the evenings, unless I want to get up at 4AM every morning to do it before work.
Hope your staffing issue gets sorted out. I'm currently looking for something closer to home. Getting tired of the daily 1 1/2 hr commute. ( round trip)

That's exactly what I do. Up at 4am and at the gym at 5:00am when it opens.

I get up at 5:15am for my cardio and now I am trying to hit the weights no later than 6:30am. Most days I don't work until 10am or 1pm so I am fortunate there.
I love training after work/at night time. I start work at 8 and the thought of waking up at 5am to go workout isn't appealing lol I like to stay up late so I would never get any sleep

You have a great will power. I quit the gym and moved workouts home after the first year of training (at 21 years old). I only go to gym for swimming.
I find it works better on my lifestyle. I can have my kids around me, watch tv and so on. However, I do miss a bit the social aspect of gym friends though.

Early morning crew...:)

Getting up early is not even that difficult; hardest part is going to bed early enough to get a decent amount of sleep.

Today was my first day getting up early in forever. Was up at 6.... Can't believe I used to get up at 445 on the regular. I think I'm officially a nighthawk
.... But still work out before work

that would be my biggest problem. My old job I used to get up at 4am for work and I would go to bed at the earliest by midnight lol I would be off at 1:30 and go home on my computer and fall asleep in my chair every time!

I workout from home. I would actually have to get up a little earlier to start my workout. I leave for work around 5:20AM. On days I work overtime I leave home at 3AM. I get home around 3:30PM everyday. So it's more practical to work out in the afts / evenings.

Starting work at those times sounds nice, but I bet you work into the late evenings. I prefer to start early and be done early.

lol
It is hard to get to bed on time some nights. I have to make my self.............

I don't consider 5:30 or 6:30pm late into the evening...and if I start at 1:00pm, I am off at 9:30pm and I work the last half of an evening shift from home so I am always still in bed by 10pm.

No. I wouldn't consider 5:30-6:30PM late either. The 9:30PM is later than I would like to work...lol
But being home for the last half of the shift would make it make it much better.

I am looking for someone who can teach me how to properly powerlift. Is there anyone in or around Georgian triangle? Collingwood Ontario area?
I don't know anyone that lifts and I just need someone to teach me the basics and maybe spot me once or twice to make sure that I AM indeed lifting properly. Anyone?

Thank goodness it isn't just me! I've been a night owl all my life and everyone kept telling me I would grow out of it, but I never have.
No matter what time I get to bed, I'm useless in the morning. I like doing morning cardio to wake me up - I feel better for the rest of the day - and then lift around 7-8 pm which is when I'm most "on". Trying to lift in the morning is a waste of time for me, worst workouts ever.
