But I cant make Frozen Greek Yogurt with cheese can I? And I love everything I eat Ill start posting pics my food is delish, just gotta be good in the kitchen ;)
Good eh, they arent as well known as bb.com but they are damn competitive
That is awesome, but you do not seem to have anything to lose at 5'10 and 193lbs, that seems like you would rather on the lean side. If anything I would thought that you would be eating higher carbs to assist with energy and muscle building process...

I have no idea how to even change that or how I made it 193 LOL but I was up around 210, strong as **** but not where I wanted to be.
That National Protein Site...super impressed. Can't believe the prices!
Just looking at canadianprotein.com and was wondering how the quality of their whey is? For the price and free shipping over 100 bucks ya can't beat it!
Also new to the thread! (from NS)

Just get some samples 3 samples for a 1.99 (I think the isolate tastes a little different then the concentrate though)

I've been curious about this product as well. The cheapest protein I can find in stores is $10/lb in tubes of 2 o 4lbs. but the bag of 45 lbs from canadianprotein.com costs 327.93 ($7.29/lb). Very good deal in my books.

Just so you know they only sell the 45 lb bag as natural. So no flavor.25lb bags are when they add in flavors. Not sure jt they do this as I'd would buy a 45 of chocolate and vanilla if the offered it

I can't get to the gym now most Monday mornings, today being the first. My day is off from not getting to the gym and lifting before work. Then to top it all off I feel gross because I finally succumbed (hardcore) to the halloween candy floating around here

well so far so good, only up 4lbs and that was in the first two days post show.....have stayed there since and eating like a horse.
So I called up this butcher that will cut up and portion and freeze meals... Apparently theres a added cost on top of what his site says for chicken. So it would end up being about 0.75 per oz cooked of either chicken or tilapia. Now Im sitting here trying to figure out if thats even a decent price to pay?
If my math is right at 4.99 a lb raw chicken youd get 16oz, which would roughly cook down to 12oz cooked chicken (I find I loose 2oz after cooking, hopefully someone can agree or put what they know it cooks down to roughly). So 8oz (or 6oz cooked) would be 2.50 a serving, where as 6oz cooked would be 4.50 (and that can come marinated or seasoned however I like it.
So the cooked chicken would work out to be a price of 9.00/lb raw (I THINK).... Now is the convience worth that?
Or Im thinking about just buying one of those vacuum sealer things and doing it myself.... Cause raw chicken is about 3.99 a lb (untrimmed) and sold in a 10lb box but they will trim the fats off if I request or remove the tenders

don't keep eating like a horse, slooooooooooow down! It's a total mind **** going from contest season to off season. The whole purpose is to get shredded or lean, and then after ur show you have to do a total 180 and start gaining again. But do it slowly, I gained 30lbs or so in 1-2 months which was bad lol I wasn't fat or anything like I still had a 6 pack but definitely lost all my conditioning from my show

I have my meal plan that I follow each day. I have put it back up to about 1600-1700 cal a day so that I can build. With the exception of show day and the day after, anything I have is clean food, until my sugar rush today.
I have a show in 22 weeks I need to build for :)

Totally up to you if the convenience is worth it. I buy my chicken every two weeks up the street. When I get home I cook it all that day or next day, use what I need for 5 days of meal prep, keep a couple of ounces out for being extra hungry or snacky...then on day 4 I take out enough to do another round of prep and extra...
Last night it took me about 3.5 hours to cook chicken, steak, broccoli, sweet potatoes then fill containers for 5 days of meals, pack up the rest for the freezer, make my coffee and goop for the morning.
I never appreciated meal prep more than I do now. Sunday and Monday after the show staying at my GF place in Ontario, I had the feeling of being lost and not knowing what to eat.

you freeze those 5 days worth of meals? I cant do 5 day old cooked chicken... Would you do less prep if you could even if it wasnt for a show?

no I keep 5 days worth of meals in the fridge all packaged up and freeze the cooked meat I am not using. cooked just enough veg, rice, cut up veggies and a little extra for the 5-7 days. and yes I do it even if i was not doing a show. Saves me time..I work two jobs and train......I am on the go and really dont want to eff around in the kitchen. Keeps me away from kitchen and snacking too much.
