Thoughts on Hector Neris?

Better watch out for the new god of OBP Odubellllll. Why didn't you pick him up mel? Pro literally will not shut up about his new single hitting machine that somehow walks at a Goldschmidt like rate with 1/100 of the XHB power. Sick of hearing about this kunt m8. Would punch Odubel square in the gabber so hard pro would feel it.
More importantly Folty will dominate tonight and Mel can cry more Astros tears
Also thanks for Rio Ruiz. Next Chipper Jones
Back to cellar dwellers where you belong
Take it back
Should have kept Folty in the pen. Guy just isn't a starter
Folty is dealing out there for me bro, I hope they keep him in. Seeing as I roster 3/4 of the mets lineup, we eatin good tonight boyo.
If the Braves don't give Tyrell Jenkins that god damn rotation spot next time through the order they're idiots.
Tired of him not getting a shot. They barely even used him in ST. He's pitching well in AAA.
Let's see what he's got for once
you excited about A-Wain?
1-3 with a 7.16
lol
That feel when Jigsaw peaces your league without telling anyone then quotes your post in league thread.

After looking at his periphs, high walk rate + low K rate = a big league shelling waiting to happen.
Odubel Herrera has gone to an 0-2 count 21 times so far this year. His OBP in PA where he has that count at any point? .524

I tried. I was out of adds and was set to pick him up last Monday morning and I guess Pro did it before he went to bed and added him at 3 am.
Thoughts on Hector Neris?
real. But probably not a 9th inning guy in the long run. Fastball seems to max at 93. But the Phillies really dont have any other long term options. So Neris seems like the closer of the future. Jimmy Cordero seemed in line but his arm has him on the DL. Jake Thompson could end up closing, but im sure they will try him as a starter for the next 2 seasons.

i drafted him. nowhere to play him with my outfield
good little player

No.
F*ck what is Adam Wainwrights problem.
It's not like this was TJ or something. He shouldn't have forgotten how to throw the f*cking baseball in his time off.
Tired of this sh*t.
F*ck him. And we all know I'm stuck with him is the worst part.
Can't drop him cause it's Adam ****ing Wainwright.
Can't trade him cause his value sucks even if someone was idiotic enough to take him.
Can't not start him cause then I'm an arm short every week
What an ass hole
And while I'm at it what is Fielders and Jones problem.
I don't know why I bothered keeping anyone this year.
Should have just went in 100% raw this season.
At least that way I wouldn't be saddled with these dumb f*cks
Anybody want my keeper slots next year? Not the players cause God knows they ****ing suck. Im talking about giving up the slot itself.
I'm down for trading them straight up for something. Hit me up boyos.
Adam wainwright hitting bases clearing triples and home runs like it ain't nothing but can't strike a mother f*cker out to save his life
What is happening

Your real problem is Keuchel. Just lol.
Might be the worst drop off I've seen since Lincecum.

Well, i thought keuchel would always come back down. His ascension was fukkin weird..
That being said, i expected him to right the ship (this year). Still can...
I wanna trade bateman lindor but ill bet he thinks hes sweet with aledmys diaz right now

looked like he was throwing ok keeping the ball down...but they're not falling for it this year. They adjusted to him......now he must readjust.

Pretty sure his velocity is down this year. Which isn't good because he didn't have much to start with. If he can't regain it he's done.

I remember hearing about it during the Astros/Yankee series. It was down all spring training and I believe it's still down. Didn't watch the game last night but on the MLB app it was showing 88-89 mph fastballs. Not sure how accurate that is though.
EDIT: just checked brooksbaseball his average fastball last year was 90.37 mph, this year it's 88.16. So down over 2 ticks.
Pretty sure his velocity is down this year. Which isn't good because he didn't have much to start with. If he can't regain it he's done.
watching the game last night, he looks exactly the same as last year to me, even velocity wise, (Yankee fans know what Keuschel looks like).....Hitters just arent phishing for that ball down in the zone....and he doesnt have the heat to blow it by anyone. So when he's trying to get ahead and leaving the ball over the plate....92 is pretty to hit. just my .02
Hitters adjusted.

From someone who actually watches the games... He is not getting the calls where the ball is about 1.5 inches off the plate, that he was constantly getting last season. Its like the umpires had a meeting and put on Keuchel's tape of the season and showed how many missed calls they made. Which is bull**** because thats how Glavin and Maddux dominated. If you watched last night, he wasnt missing by much. The ump was so bad, the Twins catcher got irate and got thrown out while catching. His velocity really doesnt play much into his ability. He is constantly in the top 3 of ground ball rates and weak contact rate. Its very much almost a Roy Halladay situation.

In the end he will be fine....not like last year, but strong #1 guy
Very happy with our Trout/Keuchel for Aranado/Fernandez deal, how bout you?
Trout started off slow.. but hes good now. Mookies been ok but still think hes got more
Its now.. arenado/fernandez for trout/cmart/shields/arodys
Pretty happy
Keuchel's innings were insanely high last year as well. Maybe its the Verduchi effect. The one down season, after a season of many many innings. I still think he is going to be fine. The Astros, not so much.
