Only bought 4 games so far: deus ex human revolution(after pirating it), bioshock infinite, css, csgo.
-
Guild Wars 2- huge letdown
APB- went free after basically dying within a few months
SWTOR- most overhyped MMO to crash and burn..
Gears of War- Just kidding... greatest fuking game of the 360 generation
-
Mortal Online
Darkfall (Was sooooo good at the start and had insane potential, but because it's a small developer it hindered their progress way too much)
SWTOR (So much potential, honestly one of the most disappointing let downs in gaming for me)
Diablo 3 (Pre-ordered collector's edition thinking there's no way it could be bad... boy was I wrong - RIP Diablo)
Mister Mosquito
APB (Went free to play for a reason, the server response lag was just too horrible to play)
CS:GO (Spent 10+ years playing counter strike, shame this couldn't keep it alive, now no one even plays 1.6 or source anymore cause of GO)
Eve Online (expected sick space combat like star wars battlefront or SWG, ended up with turbonerd chit)

Also, Assassins Creed. I LOVED borderlands 1, but for some reason Borderlands 2 just didn't seem like all that much fun.

Aion, FF13, Arma 2 with the zombie mod thing

Mercenaries 2 World In Flames- Loved the first one, second one felt like a complete turd. Sold it the next day.
GTA IV- Was cool at first but the fun factor was really missing. Nothing made me want to keep playing. Only completed about 15%.
Dead Island- Bought this game because it's Zombies and everyone said it was good... I didn't enjoy it one bit.
Gears of War Judgement- WTF is this?
Red Faction Guerilla- Fun game but buggy to the point of unplayability.
-
dont understand how cs:go is in the thread, it was on sale for like 5 bucks and the competitive mode is like built in scrim finder. No more mIRC ****. Pretty good competition in the higher ranks unless u get some high 8 dig cheater, but they do a decent job of getting rid of those. The molotovs and decoy nades add a cool mechanic too. Hitboxes fixed from Css, game feels exactly like it should. Mind = blown at some of you

Forgot about this. The F.E.A.R. franchise is so storied, and I actually LOVED the 2nd game. There were three free expansion packs in the first two games, and they were all really atmospheric and creepy.
I think for part 3 they asked someone explicitly to help them make a frustratingly difficult game. It wasn't Ninja Gaiden difficult, but it was more than a healthy challenge. The AI hit new highs, and you're no longer an invincible superhuman. The shooting was really tight, and there were inventive new gameplay options.
Too bad they forgot it's a horror game. I can count on one hand the number of environments/scares that stayed true to the series' pedigree. The rest was just straight-forward action. And of course, the story fell completely apart. I was an encyclopedia of the F.E.A.R. canon, but I couldn't tell you a thing about how the series concluded; I suppressed the memory of this monstrosity. Yes, mad.

Got nostalgic played through Pokemon Soul Silver, absolutely loved it.
Then bought Pokemon White 2, absolutely trash.
Got it for a steal though $15, which is unheard of for a Pokemon game.
Controversial opinion:
Gears of War: Judgement has the BEST Gears multiplayer by far.

tempted to neg, WTF ME is best trilogy of all time, you *******s dont know a good game when you see one GTFO OUT IM MAD
Mass Effect IS the BEST TRILOGY OF ALL TIME.
And to top it off, Mass Effect 3 does have an ending that is PERFECT.
Unlike most of the *******s that didn't actually play the multiplayer and bulk up their forces, I did and when the extended cut came out I downloaded it and then I decided to pass Mass Effect 3 and I ended up picking/getting the best ending to a video game every (the Destroy Ending). I swear dude, Mass Effect 3 then became one of my top 5 most favorite games of all time and had the best ending of all time.
Can't wait for Mass Effect 4. F*ck linear gameplay, give me choices damnit!

I want to say WoW because of how addictive it was, but it was worth every wasted day played.

Ratchet and Clank Tools of Destruction. Bought it for $10, opened it, put in the game, want to look at trophy list but no trophies!
-
Both Army of Two's. It's not that they were bad but the second one online was broken by the time my buddy and I started it up. Army of Two wasn't really a bad purchase. I had some fun with it. Deus Ex is another. Gay game lol played it for like an hour and said fuk me I wasted like 30 bucks. Twisted Metal wasn't what it should have been either. Jak and Dax collection. I played halfway through the first one and was like meh. waste of 20 bucks. Halo 4 was a huge regret too. Operation Racoon city too. So many games lol so we got
Army of Two The 40th Day
Deus Ex
Twisted Metal
Jak and Dax collection
Halo 4
Operation Racoon City
and thats just off the top of my head.

Yeah brah. Regardless of how people feel towards the changes, during those days when we were addicted to it was just epic gaming!
Ratchet and Clank Tools of Destruction. Bought it for $10, opened it, put in the game, want to look at trophy list but no trophies!
LOL! I feel same way about games with no trophies. Damn these way of thinking!

Anything that's not NHL09-13 (soon to be 14)

Just Diablo III, cant believe how pathetic it is.
Character had $500 worth of gears and 200mil, then one day gets hacked by bots.
Waste of times and $60.
-
Assassins Creed 3. I played it for a day and got so bored that I never turned it on again.
Borderlands 2
What made BL2 so hard to play for extended periods was how "busy" it was. There was always so much random non-sense on screen, I couldn't ever really process it all. I'm not exaggerating when I say it felt like I was having a stroke when I'd play. I felt a strange confusion and disorientation at all times.
I'm not asking for linear level design or crates and warehouse/cave/research facility layouts, but I should be able to comprehend the environment at any given moment.

Some game for the gc back in the day. I "demo" almost anything before I buy it now. I try like 10 games before I find one I like.
