When did Skyrim or oblivion do this? They don't have pay to win stuff, IIRC they had DLC's yeah but not anything you can buy in game, unless I'm totally forgetting something. ^
Anyway if you don't see the issue from this then you're pretty blind lol, Diablo 3 was basically ruined because of this same thing.
They had like that mages place where you could make spells and all that ****.
Yeah but it's not going to ruin anything though. The game still plays the same, and whats the difference from someone griding out in hours and being ahead of you, or someone playing a little bit and tossing some extra money to get a head of where they should be?
Again, no one is forcing you to buy anything. It's the same playground as it would be if you bought the game late, it's no different.
single player =/= online
online in gta has always been a gimmick anyway, single player is where its at. Rockstar clearly trolling doe by selling virtual money in these economically difficult times, which they themselves often mention in game and is even on the game case. Another piece of excellent satire on modern consumerism delivered with succinct aplomb by Rockstar games, as those of us recipient to such cultivated humor will continue to enjoy at the expense of our less erudite brethren who will complain yet continue searching the crevasse of their wallets for their ill valued currency as only befits their imbecilic nature. Do you know what pay to win is?
If it is pay to win like Max Payne 3 then it won't matter if you grind or not, there will be exclusive stuff for people who use real dollars, or they will make it hard to get money so that you have to pay to even compete. If it is just cosmetic stuff then you are right, but otherwise no it would ruin multi player completely.
-
Yeah I do, and you're more than aware its not pay to win right? You can still complete the game just fine without dropping another cent.
People complained about Dead Space 3 for the same ****, yet you could easily beat the game without buying anything.
Get used to it, the dollar rules everything, anything someone can do to make more money, they will do. BTW, is this even confirmed by Rockstar, or just some dumbass source?

Not confirmed by Rockstar, they found the code in the game. And yeah the dollar rules everything, that's why I paid full price $$$ to get the game, if they wanted to make it $100 to make more money I'd still probably buy it, but if they are going to randomly announce after I already bought the game that I'll need to spend more $$$ to play it properly then fk them, that is just shady, and a cheap trick to get more money out of it. If every consumer had your logic we'd be paying hundreds of dollars for games. Your money is an endorsement, and I'm not guna endorse shady tactics like that.

There are only 70 missions, and only 5 heists. Each heist is 25 missions so that is 25 missions gone right there, then you have the Michael missions where you drive your kids around and other stupid BS, and then that leaves like only 10-15 non repetitive/boring missions. They didn't focus on single player at all, you can beat the game in a week or two playing casually, it looks like Multiplayer is the focus of the new GTA, and the reason why they delayed it, to refine the main aspect of the game.

Glad I didn't buy it yet, and if these rumors are true, I will just pirate a copy on my PC and not support them.
GTA single player is lame for the most part, game will fail if multiplayer doesn't deliver.

Yeah so much detail that it doesn't have even half the missions of GTA IV, SA, or VC.
-
Yes this sounds like a sht idea. And for those of you saying only 'cosmetics', I don't want that either. If you're poverty you gotta work your way up or stay poverty. I don't want noobs looking better than me, when I put in more time.

You've obviously never played a competitive f2p game with in-game items that give you an advantage and cost money. It's a sad trainwreck. If what the OP said is true then that is very disappointing.

am i missing something i thought multiplayer was only 16 players?
Yeah so much detail that it doesn't have even half the missions of GTA IV, SA, or VC.
If you only buy gta for main missions you're retarded, this game is more packed overall than the other GTAs yes. That much is obvious

A gimped mini game of tennis and golf doesn't make the game more packed. Also most of the activities/side missions are boring and simplistic.
When you buy properties most of the time you can't even go inside them, def so packed.

okay, so you may not like all the extra things that the game offers, but that doesnt mean it isnt there. I along with the great majority who bought the game fuarkin love it, going for full completion of the game and gettng my money worth, I'm not even half way done with main missions and ive put hours in since it came out. Thats how you get full value from a game like GTA, its about much more than just rushing through the main story
Ha! The sweetness would be even more insatiable if you could rob them for the virtual money that they spent their real money to get!!
Imagine randomly murdering another character, taking the money they dropped and getting a butt-hurt message from them through XBL or PSN crying about how they spent their allowance on buying that money from the Social Club...trollololol
Unfortunately, this dream of mine's won't happen, based off of what OP posted earlier: "All purchased cash is automatically deposited into your characters bank account." This is the one advantage that slightly irritates me.... I have to keep my head on a swivel while completing a heist, etc, get to the games virtual bank (through my phone I hope; driving to a branch or an ATM to do the deposit would make the risk of dieing even heavier), and deposit my hard earned virtual money, to make sure you *******s don't kill/rob me of it; while, some pansy can just buy their money, have all they need for upgrades, etc with NO risk of it being taken from them....
GTA Misc gonna be trollin hard as fuark. Pretty sure we got over 200 people now. We don't necessarily have to take their cash. We can take their cars, guns, shoot down their jets, helis, etc. The only thing that'll be safe is their safe house.
-
dont really care, im used to beat kids who try to win with daddys visa in fifa
-
ib4 someone buys a few hundred dollar worth of cash and instantly gets killed before he gets to put it in his safe deposit.

goes straight into bank account

tldr
But can we team up and rob the rich people?
I am not dropping a penny for online stuff. If people would stop paying for this crap they would stop it.
-
goes straight into bank account
Well, I guess thats that.

I dont see how theres any way for this to be true. its too easy to lose things like cars and money.
.... its too easy to lose things like cars.
Fixed that for you, slick. OP has now posted twice that any "purchased money" goes str8 into your characters bank deposit. Unfortunately, there's no way for them to "lose" that cash, unless they blow it on modding cars, etc and you plan on stalking other player's online that have the best gear and doing what I'm going to do (hint: a hunting we will go...)

you either suck ass at gta5 or are retarded
there is so much crap to do, just drive around the city and random people will start giving you stuff to do
I returned this guys stolen bike and got 100,000 on a stock, which ended up turning like a 30k profit, for returning a stolen bicycle.
theres random suitcases/missions all over the world
then there is the alien/clown killing game, etc
