Can someone else confirm or deny that bypassing the swear filter is NOT against the rules?
How the are people being banned for that when everyone including mods do it?
I thought 400Lb said farley was banned for that
Which one you got?
Have a 400ex and planning on doing the 04 05 450r carb swap. Basically wondering if it will give me more top end and how much improvement I might see.
The sleds and 2 stroke dirt bikes are hard to keep up with on top end since there studded.
I've owned and sold numerous ATVs since I was young. I worked at a Honda/Yam/Suz/Kaw dealership for five years and have helped run my current dealership for a couple of years.
From a practical/cheap aspect I would just change the gearing to achieve a higher top end on the 400ex. The carb itself might help you run better (crisper response better fuel delivery), but unless you are cammed or have a big bore kit on the 400ex I wouldn't spend the money on the carb. You won't get the top end you are looking for with the factory head/cam/bore.

Carb was only $30 just needs idle cable, 450r throttle cable and it's missing the plastic cover but no biggie.
Cam plans are in the future either xr400 or bigger. It's only a 86mm 10 1 Wiseco so nothing crazy.
Wanna hook me up with cheap parts? Considered gearing change but unsure if going with bigger tires yet.

Can you link me to it? I believe you I just want to see where because I couldn't find it in the Misc rules sticky.
Is fuk bypassing the swear filter? Is fuuuuuuuuck bypassing it or is it when you bold a letter? Mods use the first two all the time so maybe it's just bolding a letter?
It's a momentum killer, makes it harder to get people motivated for recalls. Takes away a lot of the effectiveness of these campaigns, nevermind the keeping of the seat.
I would have much preferred Hudak being recalled and winning the seat (and the senate) back. But it's still a very good thing to get that evil troll out of office. The recalls of Morse and Giron earlier were why she resigned--she knew she was sunk and that's why the party pushed her out. The recalls scared a lot of dems out here--they thought they were in for smooth sailing and they're taking a pretty good beating for pushing such a progressive agenda so hard.
Hudak's replacement only serves til the election in 2014 (which is 2 years before Hudak's term would have ended) so we get a good crack at her seat anyway next year and whoever is appointed is going to be running with that gun vote albatross and Hudak's reputation hanging around their neck. So still a good chance of winning back the senate. I don't think it killed the momentum for recalls at all. If anything, we've shown that an anti-gun vote CAN get you recalled and that another pushed a senator to the point of resigning . . . so if anything I think that underlines how effective a recall can be given the right circumstances. Plus, the message has been sent loud and clear about gun votes and where that can lead for a political career.

I would go ahead and get the carb just to have it whenever you plan on putting a bigger cam/head job
I wish I could on the cheap parts, it's almost impossible to beat the price of some of these big ebay guys shipped to your door. srs

The message has been sent, but perhaps not as strongly as it could have been. The difference in feel amongst the populace is definitely down after the resignation.

I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, waiting for a QD mount first. But mounted forward is fine. Full view through the red dot, and I'm happy to report with my corrective lenses the dot is nice and small lol

Yea it's amazing how cheap some can offer things idk if they just drop ship them.
How was the yfz thought they were hugely popular but seems like the new scrambler and can am are getting big press.
Honda fan boy too, wish the cr250 400ex kits weren't so expensive.

I loved my YFZ. Tons of power(for 07 when I owned it lol), handled great. I actually traded it in on my 04 CBR600RR.
My biggest problem with can am is reliability. They make some of the most fun and fast ATVs/UTVs on the market but they don't hold up after a couple years.
So if you buy new with a warranty that's not too big of a problem. But if you buy a used 1000cc can-am commander without a warranty, the $2500 transmission breakdown can really hurt.
