Just a heads up: do not use that word in the Ex. section. You'll get banned. Srs. Chazzy and Shoeless can attest to that fact.

Did Oly shoes affect your form that much that it made you dislike squatting? Guess I won't be purchasing any.

Its not that they felt too heavy to get for 2, I just was extremely out of groove on the bench. I should have warmed up more or something, idk.

thoughts
I am willing to say its at least partly (maybe 5-10%) my fault for only being 170 lbs, but its mostly cause Kevin sabotaged my squat.
I still think I can get 390 if my bar path is somewhat decent, will play it by ear next week and decide what I am gonna do while I am warming up.
Deadlifts are gonna be Thursday since I think I am not gonna get any sleep tonight.

I knew my grip was not going to hold up for 5 reps. I didn't even bother.
555x1 <------------------ Was pretty hard, but I probably could have had 560. I originally was planning to attempt 560 after I realized that 495x5 wasn't gonna happen, but I really needed a morale boost and didn't wanna fail. First PR in a very long time.

thoughts
Gonna do some squats tomorrow before my light bench. No way I was gonna do squats today, my stabilizers are raped right now.
Not sure what I am gonna do right now in terms of working up to a 1RM on deadlifts. I might take another attempt at a PR in a week and a half, but I am not sure.
3.3x bodyweight, I am a better deadlifter than Andy Bolton.

if I get into a decent groove, yes.
its hilarious how mechanically inefficient that pull is.
the angle of my back when I start to apply to force is like 30 degrees away from where I actually begin to move the bar.

You should change your name to LegosAndMyEgos, so everyone can call you LAME. ;)

i don't know if it has to do with coordination or not.
every single time I deadlift I more or less just guess where the "correct" position is to start applying force, and no matter what I do, I can just never seem to find it.

Some people are just not made for deadlifting.
P.S. I'm glad you've stopped posting in Le Shack.

Kevin ruined my squat progression with his terrible lifting advice, so I am just gonna focus on them next training cycle.
I figure if I work up to ~90% of my all time best squat frequently enough, I should maintain at least most of what it used to be. I may only be able to hit 460-465 right now, but it should come right back once I train it proper again.
