No, let's not. The fact that Harbaugh so easily replaced Smith should say a lot about his limitations. Smith's stock was boosted by Harbaugh's system, a tremendous defense, and a great running game. He isn't a downfield threat by NFL standards, and he has a harder time playing from behind. He's been an effective game manager in SF, but KC doesn't need a game manager - they need a game changer. Smith is probably good enough to start for some teams, but he sure as fck isn't going to lead some massive turnaround for a cellar dweller.
I just think that the ESPN guys & Co. are paid to make drama out of anything they can, and after the Green Bay Stomp, they're going to jump on the "Evil Suh" bandwagon at any chance they get. I was watching the game in real time, and didn't think a thing of it when it happened live. A lineman pulled him down, and his foot flung out to the side. You can over-analyze anything if you watch it in replay 87 bazillion times, with the talking heads putting their spin on it.
I'm not saying it couldn't have been intentional, but it doesn't look any different than tons of other plays in the NFL. Weird stuff happens.

I read that last season the big whigs at AMC decided to take control from the producer and slashed the budget. Hence only seeing 1.2 Zombies all year. Not sure if that changed, but someone wised up and figured out that the fans didn't just want Days Of Our Lives on the Farm.
Damn near every episode this season has been pretty interesting.

I don't recall seeing anything quite like that before. It looked intentional to me regardless of what anyone else thinks or says. But whatever. The bigger story in that game was the stupid rule about not reviewing the TD since strange-looking Schwarz challenged at an unacceptable time.

IMO, the kick was intentional. It connecting to the groin was pure luck. /speculation
The NFL is apparently looking to change that rule already.

Game officials were unable to review Justin Forsett's 81-yard score in the third quarter when Lions coach Jim Schwartz immediately threw the red challenge flag on a play that, in this case a touchdown, was automatically reviewable. SI.com reported that an NFL source said the rule likely will be overturned in the future.
The league official called the rule "too onerous," according to SI.com.
When Schwartz threw the red flag after the touchdown, the NFL rule book states that a 15-yard penalty should be assessed for "initiating a challenge when a team is prohibited from doing so." The rule was designed to keep coaches from stopping play just to argue a call and manipulate the clock by delaying the next snap.

I enjoyed avoiding all coors products, though I've heard the tour in Golden is actually a very good one. This was at Wynkoop in LoDo. Apparently the ball beer started as an April Fool's, but then they decided to actually do it.

The 15 yard penalty is fine. It's the fact they do not review the play at all if they challenge a scoring play that's the problem. He obviously didn't the throw the challenge flag to manipulate the clock but he should know the rule so penalize 15 yards. But they should still review the scoring play. Forsett was CLEARLY down on that play and it was an insult to everyone watching that game they the call wasn't reversed (can't blame the refs though since that's the rule). It was just ridiculous.

I've always said that if a challenge is unsuccessful, it should be a 15 yard penalty for delay of game. A time out really isn't much of a penalty, considering mostly everything is reviewed automatically now.

That's why they charge a timeout...because it initially ends up just being a timeout lol

I assume that is because you have been contemplating how to proceed regarding your recent peeled tomato quandary. I hope you have settled upon an acceptable solution, and I wish you success in your future canned food purchasing and cooking.
