Yeah, but if you get the lever you have to keep adjusting it when your gut gets bigger ;).
Single prong for me ftw.
So what you're saying is you can't operate a screwdriver once every 6-8 weeks as your mythical waistline grows?!
Single prong = too much work for people with squat leverage

I'm a lawyer. I can't do anything with my hands that doesn't involve "multitasking" while using a mouse to stream videos.

Yeah....screwdriver work can be done sitting down.

Kinda like shaking someone's hand while flipping them off with the other one?

Only a cause of action if it's not true.
And you beat me to the joke anyway.

Nice work NC. Reading this strong workout gets me motivated for the gym today.
i love my inzer forever belt. (i've got single prong instead of lever)
I've also heard great stuff about the p2 belt from Elite FTS. Supposed to be more or less broken in when you take it out of the box
I have the EFTS P2 Power belt and love it so far. It doesn't take long to break in. I haven't had any other belt so I can't really compare it to say an Inzer or any other.
Belts, watch ebay buy two, vary the sizes for whatever you need...they are already broken in and you have belts for life. My gym is full of belts I have found cheap.

Just getting some work in...nothing crazy :)
I'm going to be switching back to mixed grip (I used it tonight) and squatting in flat soled shoes just to kinda test it out and see how I do. I'm hoping it will help me to sit back more and help me make strides to correcting my lean.
Nice and easy.
You guys in the single digit temps out there?

ha ha ha. Yeah right. It's in the upper 20's and you would think the Zombie Apocalypse is upon us. Most schools are closing at 12 today in anticipation that we will have bad weather (read flurries)

I gotcha. I know some places have been in the single digits this week, and even below zero up north I guess. It's usually the same here with schools, but there actually is ice on the road here this morning. It will be up above freezing in an hour or two though and hopefully the roads will be ok.

We freak at the sight of snow and we definitely don't drive on the stuff!!!

Our anniversary is Saturday so I'm hoping for no ice because the wife is going to be pissed if we have to stay at home!!!
Looks like I will be checking ebay/CL for a decent lifting belt and see what turns up. Im fine with prongs my gut wont grow much.
Congrats man. Which anniversary?
Looks like I will be checking ebay/CL for a decent lifting belt and see what turns up. Im fine with prongs my gut wont grow much.
You just have to be consistent with checking (especially Craig's List).
I'm pretty well set on everything I need for a gym. Sure there are lots more bells and whistles I want but I can be patient and pick and choose the best deal if something comes up.
Basically if I can low ball someone that's looking to move stuff fast...I hop on it :D
Congrats man. Which anniversary?
11 years of wedded bliss :)

Powerlifting....you are doing it wrong....
Are you going to say with mixed grip or go back to hook after awhile?
Powerlifting....you are doing it wrong....
Dat dere squat leverage/stone/continental shelf
Are you going to say with mixed grip or go back to hook after awhile?
I think I'm sticking with mixed.
I felt like I was able to dip my ass lower with mixed and it just felt so much better. I'm going to be smart about it though and monitor my bicep and ice after every session that I pull mixed.

I tell my GF it is my love tank and it is topped off.

When you have a valuable piece of equipment....you gotta build a shed for it...
yeah, that's it...
So you have been talking me into hook grip just to wuss out on it yourself? :p
I am on the fence myself. I keep going back and forth with whether or not I like it.
decent day man. i think hook is a stronger grip in general but i don't really see the huge scare of bicep tear either
Keep in mind, it took me two years of playing with it before I fully committed. I have a plan...
