Are those XXR's? (wheels)
I'm very grateful to actually talk to a fellow gear head on here. So damn expensive to lift and mod cars.
To be completely honest, I regret getting rid of the 2003 Cobra every day of my life. I should have held out and bought another Cobra. I got so tired of it. I loved DSG (Dark Shadown Grey) before I bought the car, and my 1996 was a 'vert. I loved being able to drop the top in Texas on a warm day... But this car came with cons, and too many for my liking. I started to dislike 'verts more and more, started to hate DSG, I HATED the IRS, and hated the transmission. I probably spent close to $10k in bolt on's. I broke a few half-shafts. I could NEVER get the transmission to shift softly and the clutch pedal literally had about 50lb's of pressure to depress. It was fast and it sounded amazing, but wasn't what I wanted anymore. I got completely tired of it. Grey is the most boring color you can put on a car. There are 3 colors that flow well with it, Chrome, black, and red. Red is cliche. So I let it go wanting a different colored body with a hard top and came along the Lambo Orange 4V. Needless to say, I got googly eyes over the color and how famous the car was and got it. The car was a total lemon. The original owner ghetto rigged too much stuff for me to handle. I lost my job and couldn't hold on so something had to go.
As for racing, your Goat, as you know, is a tank. The thing is so heavy it isn't even funny. What is the most important thing in racing? Power to weight ratio. Get a stripped Honda civic making 175HP only weighing 1,600 pounds or less and it will walk anything you or I've got (of course you'd reel them in up top). I personally wouldn't make anything that weighes so much fast. Why do you think EVERYONE has a Mustang, either a Fox, or a New Edge (99-04) is because they a cheap, easy, and light. Not much cars have so much swapablity. I can go get a 5.4 SUPERCHARGED Lightening motor and swap it right into my car, bolts right up to a 99-04 K-member. But I'm pretty impressed with you TVS. I don't think I've ever seen a boosted late model Goat. Kudos.
.
Understandable with the convertible. I would personally never own one, but that's because I just don't like the look.
As for my car, by present standards it is hardly a tank. Most cars are now up in the 4k+ area. I've got mine down to somewhere around 3600 without even really trying to save weight. I'm sure I could get it to below 3500 if I wanted, but that's not why I got this car. It drives amazingly smooth at high speeds and is extremely comfortable and unassuming. I don't get many idiot ricers trying to race me and police aren't watching for me. It is also unique, which is something else I wanted. The perfect car for what I want. I will never have the fastest car, so sacrificing a few pounds for comfort instead of driving a rattle trap <3000 pound car
As for boosted GTOs, there are a decent amount out there. A friend of mine has a procharger 05 that's over 540 rwhp. On ls1gto.com there is the infamous wrp and his car "ethyl"

talking power to weight ratio, i'm starting a new project, or restarting to be more accurate. Built it for a guy a few years ago and just bought it from him. 1991 dodge colt with a turbo mitsubishi eclipse engine. 272 cams, full fuel system, intercooler, larger turbo, blah blah blah. weighs like 2200 lbs. It screams and destroys just about everyitng short of 500 whp.

Terminators curb weight is like 3700 and GTO's is 3725.... Whats the huge difference?
To me, it seems there are a ****load of boosted GTO's. Theres at least 1 other forum member here, and I think there's actually 2 on here with turbo GTO's as well.
Here's mine.

LOL, you have never witnessed rear spring sag until you've owned a GTO. Had stock springs and looked good, but rubbed when launching and shifting so bought zero drop stiffer springs and this is what I got. Have even stiffer 20mm drop springs I've been too lazy to install.
Also, strong lack of posting your ride.

i got coils so stiff i catch air when i go over bumps at a high speed.

I need to find better balance than that for me. If the fronts are too stiff I won't get traction launching. Also, hate having a ride that is THAT stiff. Don't mind it not being soft, but not like that.

Just a stock V6, so I didn't see the point of posting it it's pretty common; I got it a year ago when I first got my license so it was a good first, hoping to switch to a GT but I doubt it'll happen until I'm 18 and can lease it under my name

Nah it's the Daytona one. Just has the same srt10 hood. No viper motor though. 5.7 hemi, I installed a supercharger and diablo tuner and dropped the front 2 inches and that's it really.

Curious why you talk chit about wheel gap then have a ride that's got wheel gap also. I agree that I hate it but makes no sense
Make decent power?
Yes. Good combination of power and torque. It doesn't have traction control and it still launches like a mfer. In short little drags it kills it but after about 70mph it can't hang with most sports cars. I don't have the cash or desire to turn it into a race truck anyways lol
