DAY 19 - shoulders
wasn't able to train yesterday, just didn't have time. Long shift at work then long night at home trying to get kids fed, bathed, and in bed....
feeling the DOMS in my legs this morning..... but not too too bad. Starting taking AppNut's Osteo-Sport a few days ago and maybe that's why I'm not limping today!
today though, different story!
one thing I realized this morning when I woke up is that I'm sweating a lot more at night. My pillow is wet when I wake up. It might be the humidity (it's been hot the past few weeks) but I think it's the XAT-7. I have been taking 2 pills around 6pm everynight since starting this log and I think that is what is causing the sweats...
this morning:
- 2 XAT-7 on an empty stomach with an awesome cup of French Roast (I love caffeine!)
- 2 scoops Cardio Ignitor
today's motivation: The Expendables 2. I will not be able to sit still until I go see this movies. My childhood heroes together in one movie, kicking ass! If only they could find a way to get Eddie Murphy and Steven Segal in there, my life would be complete.

Followed O'Hearn's shoulder routine to the letter this morning.... great workout. Might not be able to lift my arms tomorrow, but that's ok :)

DAY 21 - back
today's motivation: heroes. Everybody has them. Growing up, it was a tie for me between my dad and arnold. I grew up watching Commando, Raw Deal, Running Man, Total Recall, Conan, Predator (my personal fav).... and I always associated Arnold with my dad. Strong, confident, goal oriented.
I saw this pic in Pastorpritch's log (thanks DarrenConroy) and I just loved it! So I'm putting it in here to share with you guys:

DAY 21 and 22
Rest day today...... much needed. I'm feeling pretty sore this morning after hitting deadlift PR yesterday (it's a good kinda sore). And my arms are still stiff from arm workout 3 days ago! I must have done something right!

It's almost over......
I was looking at my tub of Cardio Ignitor tonight and realized I've got about 2 scoops left. That means I've got one workout left and this log is over. It will be chest on Monday, so I'll be sure to go all out then post a final review!
My bottle of XAT-7 that I started at the same time as Cardio Ignitor is empty as well (finished it last weekend). I still have a little more, as Tanya at TSN was extremely generous and hooked me up with a second bottle... I will keep taking it until it's empty too!
-
Had my last serving today... For a balls to the wall chest workout! It was a great one!!
Will post final review tomorrow.
Off to a pool party... I am not shredded yet, but def more cut than 3 weeks ago. Lets see if anybody notices....

FINAL REVIEW

So I am finished with Cardio Ignitor / XAT-7. Thanks again to BlueRev and everybody at Top Secret Nutrition. I can't say enough good things about them and their customer service / products. The CI, the XAT, the shaker cup! All good stuff!!
My goal during this log was to cut up but still continue to try to add some lean mass (my ultimate goal for 2012). I realize that the traditional way to do it is bulk OR cut... one or the other. But I think I can recomp and do both at the same time.
I can honestly say that this combination of products helped. In the almost 4 weeks that I used this product I saw changes in every area I was looking for....
Here's a little before / after:

WEIGHT
This was a cut, but my weight is actually up 4 pounds... Not exactly sure why. Maybe it's muscle, I'm not sure... but I do know that strength is up in every muscle group so this is most likely the case
PANTS
they definitely fit better / looser. All of my pants and shorts are loose around the waist. THIS IS WHAT I WANTED MOST... and I got it!
STRENGTH
I think Cardio Ignitor really helped me here. I love beta alanine and Cardio Ignitor delivered! I had great energy while taking this....not a jittery or cracked out type of energy, but just a good clean consistent energy that helped me push through fatigue and mental obstacles. I saw some PRs in this log that I am super excited about!
EFFECT
Cardio Ignitor : I used 2 scoops and it gave me just what I needed. This product does deliver a beta alanine tingle (which I love), but not too much. I love that it does not have creatine.... as I took this everyday and never experienced any bloat or cramps that I often get with creatine.
I also strongly believe that the taurine in the product contributed to a better mood. When taking Cardio Ignitor even my wife commented on how I was less stressed and happier all the time!
XAT-7: I have to be honest and say that I'm not sure how I feel about this product. The only other fat burner I've ever used was effedrine/caffeine about 10 yrs ago. On that I dropped a ton of weight but had daily heart pain (yikes!). On XAT-7 I definitely didn't have any heart pain, and I didn't lose weight (on the scale), but my pant size dropped so it looks like it works! I really like the ingredient profile and suspect that with long term use you would definitely see some fantastic results!
- one of these products, or both, made me sweat more than usual. I actually kinda liked this.... buy the end of my workouts I was drenched in sweat, which made me at least think that I worked hard
WOULD I BUY IT?: if you could only buy just one of the two, I'd say Cardio Ignitor. Probably cuz of the beta alanine.... and because I've always had a prefence for powders. But, I do think that the two together work fantastically! I follow other users logs and they are seeing similar results!
I've tried TONS of different preworkouts and Cario Ignitor is definitely near the top of my list! I'd buy it!
-
nice final reivew, your weight may be up but you definitely look noticeably better so awesome work!!

thanks man. I like to say that I don't care what the number on the scale says..... but I think that secretly, I do. I was up to 215 a few months ago and definitely fatter than I am now, but I was actually proud to see that red "215" on my scale staring back at me.
-
Great log and good job bro you look cut up man....awesome transformation
-
Nice final review, Richards...I'm almost finished, too!!!!
Only a couple workouts left!
You can definitely notice a difference and looking a lot more lean...Somebody is going to be cast in Expendables 3 ;)

thanks for the support man. I've seen your log... great work! I can only imagine 3 months on CardioIgnitor/XAT7.... I'm kinda regretting not signing up for the 90 day log!

I originally got in the 30 and then somehow got in the 90 day log. Right now I am hovering around 197. I am really hoping to get 196-195 for my Sunday weigh-in. That would a total of 13 pound sense I started. What are your current plans now?

still trying to recomp... i'd like to drop one more pant size, but wanna bulk a bit. It's a constant struggle for me... cut or bulk.
But since summer is coming to a close and beach days are almost over, I imagine I will be leaning towards bulk
