Just ridding of my junk (which means sugar free syrup is done, jam is done, margarine now done), Pretty sad when this was the only junk food (besides my love for natural peanut butter) you have in the fridge or cupboards and you still manage to gain 22lbs....
Also trying to get my meal timings and water consumption on track, then I can do the real thing in another 1.5 weeks.

Hey all!! Does anyone else have trouble staying motivated during the summer season? Part of me wants to train hard and the other part says Eff That!! I find it hard to stay on track with all the nice weather and daily activities.. Am I alone on this one? Cheers!! :-)

I wouldn't say I find it hard to stay MOTIVATED; I would say it takes a lot more DISCIPLINE, for me anyway.
Reason being I get up at 4am and train at 5am so I need to be in bed at a decent hour. Winter when it's dark and cold that is no big deal.
Summer when it's bright and warm; whole different story.

Can't recall now whether or not I told you about this restaurant that I went to out here called "Bolero". A Brazilian Steakhouse that has this deal for $38 all you can eat.... and they just bring you slice after slice of various grilled meats until you tap out and say "no mas". Dat feel.... when you fast all day long so you can go there and try to eat 5lbs of meat in 1 sitting! lulz.
You would be in heaven.

nope I train early in the morning, then it is done and over with for the day.
I lift at 5:30am myself. And right now cardio is done outside, so I can take advantage of the good weather.

Morming workouts...ugh. During the week - no thanks! On the weekends I can usually push m yself to a morning class. I've been so tired lately though that the week day workouts are non existent...oops!
I lift after work, pass there heading home so it's kind of easy to stop by, especially summer time when basically nobody goes, empty gym makes for a quick workout :)
I've gone from evening lifting, to morning lifting, back to night lifting. I loved morning lifting so much more. Get there at 5.30-6am, lift until 7.30-8, leave for work, and you're good for the day.
But, the current gym opens too late for me to be at work on time.

I take the TTC to work sooo I have to throw my stuff in the car the morning of so when I get home I go straight to my car instead of going upstairs. It was easier when I drove to work.

^^^^
yuppers, even work will sometimes allow you flex your start time in order to support a healthy lifestyle.
and if you can't do it in one shot, then you break it up....quick biceps in the morning, triceps in the evening.......hammies in the morning, quads in the evening....
not everyone is lucky like me, I manage my own work schedule with this recent new job I started and my last job I could give my early mornings away to another coworker for 10am or 1pm starts instead.
Are you newfie or do you just speak newfie?
People always think I have a newfie accent, and I'm from NB. Then I ask them if they've ever spoken to a real newfie? :p
Are you newfie or do you just speak newfie?
How ya gettin' on der bye? :D
Ha. I speak a little Newf from time to time but no, I am (or was?) a Torontonian.
