I thought I was going to do another show this summer but I've decided against it. My diet hasn't been the cleanest since my last comp. I better concentrate on improving for next year.

Contest on Saturday. Down to 162.4 lbs

I survived the competition on Saturday. I weighed in at 163.6. Most of the men's bodybuilding classes were in the second half of the programme. So it meant a lot of waiting around. Pre-judging was around noon for my class. Evening was around 9 pm. There were three folk in the over 60 class. No surprise I came in third out of third. Met some interesting folk. Got some good affirmation. Will post pictures when I get them!

I swear you had the most muscular back up there (thickest anyways).
A little work on posing transition during the free for all/pose down so it doesn't look so choppy would work wonders. Just adds a little polish.

It's been a long time since I've been here so don't know who is still around. Still working out. Found myself a gym and a personal trainer who insists that we find a way to do things despite the limitations of my body and those things that I avoid doing - like abs. So we are doing rack deadlifts instead of conventional deadlifts. I am hoping that my bench press will be up to 185 lbs mycurrent bodyweight this summer
