Slingshot and Hip Circle
Excited as fukk that I got my OG Slingshot today as well as the Grippy Hip Circle. I can't wait to train with these next week. Deload week from Candito 6 week program and then starting the GZCL method. Need to progress on the bench and I also bring my knees in while ascending on the squat so the hip circle should help that....also to warm up with. But I also read someone said it helped them with their deadlift (conventional)...how does this work? How do you guys like your slingshot? I'm Pumped!

I like my slingshot a lot for supermaximal weight.
Hip circle has been more bother than it's worth. I tried it with deads before I modified my program. It made my squat sessions feel worse.

I just throw monster mini around my knees to warm up with.. Same deal for me. I didn't like to do work sets with it on.
But i do love my slingshot (blue reactive) and its great for tricep/ top end work and when my shoulders feel off.. (wrecked ac)..

Tried out my hip circle for the first time today. It was squat day so I did some fwd/rev regular walking, so side to side shuffles just at a walking pace, then 10 or so body squats with a real controlled descent. Basically just used it as a warmup to get the hips primed and I liked it a lot. I'll definitely be using it to warm up on all squat/deadift days. For working sets, probably not.

Love the Hip Circle a lot. Vital for aging hips, glutes, IT, etc

I use it for warming up like this too and I have to say it works pretty well. Saves me the hassle of tying a resistance band around my knees.

I have the red slingshot. It made bench to easy in my opinion. I know alot of people say great things about it, but I feel like it's kinda worthless. Yeah I can push more weight for more reps, but I may as well be quarter repping because it feels like a spotter is yanking the weight off my chest. Lol I know that's the point of the band, but the slingshot does it so aggressively, I don't feel there's any benefit to it. I'd say get the blue slingshot if anything, less spring to it. might be what I need actually

Slingshot is a good tool for overload work, and helps to protect your shoulders/pecs which is good for people who like to bench often or have issues (or poor technique).
People who said that the Hip Circle helped with their deadlift may have been using it to warm up to 'activate' their glutes prior to pulling. I am not sure if it is a load of bologna or not - but I think that the hip circle is good for teaching you to push your knees outward on squats/pulls.
