I think 94 was his best year and he should have never went to far from that package.....but the 90s were the "size game" days unfortunately...:-(

Flex Wheeler didn't compete in 1994 because of a car accident. Maybe you meant 1993?
Flex's best showing was 1993 ASC, in 1994 he was injured.
I still have trouble believing he was "only" 217 lb in that contest, he looked at least 20 lb bigger.
It just shows how much small joints, waist...and full round muscle bellies can make a phisique look far larger than it is.

Same. Nasser called Flex "The Lord of Illusion" and you can see why.
The car accident marked a long ride downhill, but he actually managed a pretty convincing comeback in 1995. He was already starting to lose that crisp dryness, though.

He was on TRT doses at that point, which is more 'natural' than going all out.
