You're on a bulk OP, therefore.. you're not going to be able to "lose fat on your midsection" if you're in a caloric surplus.
Eating "as little carbs as possible" won't do anything for you, carbs are good/beneficial for you while bulking.

How comes loads of people do cardiovascular training like twice a week on bulk?
I do Cardiovascular work 5 times a week per bulking, but I am still gaining muscle by eating the calories I burn through cardio.
Bulking is no excuse too stop doing cardio since its keep your main muscle healthy.
and like the above posts said, you need to focus on either cutting or bulking and only focus on that one thing until you hit your short term goal, unless you want to do both then look into steroids.

To be able to eat more & keep their heart healthy.

for general cardiovascular health (when people go into cardiac arrest, there heart fails, notice the link in the names)
