Energy levels vs PMS
Im currently on week 5 of Jaime Eason's LiveFIT trainer and have been doing awesome thus far. However, this week, I'm PMSing and it's also the start of incorporating cardio back into the routine. I dont know about any of you, but I am extremely fatigued when I'm near the start of my period and would like to know how to combat the lethargy so I can give my workouts all I can. Especially since they're longer in duration now.

Have you thought of adding a preworkout.... or you could munch a banana during your strength training to give you some energy for cardio.

I have 2 exhausted days right before my period starts. I try to have those be my 'rest' days, but I don't know if JE program would accommodate that. I've gone in before feeling crappy and sometimes surprise myself, but other times, it's just a crappy workout.

Yes. I actually had an amino acid pre workout yesterday hoping it would help. I stay away from the pre workout drinks with caffeine b/c they give me BAD anxiety. I will try some fruit! :) Sometimes, you just can't beat mother nature and you just have to suck it up and give it your best. :)

It always gives me a boost.

I always have less energy and less motivation to train the week before Aunt Flo shows up. It's normal and it's a good time to deload.

Just had some brown rice and fruit. Feeling ready :)

i take a supp regularly that has iron in it, and that's been beneficial.
my sleep is often adversely affected during 'that time' so...for a day or two, i'm a bit more tired than usual, just due to that.

I had a MUCH better workout yesterday after having consumed a bit more carbs than usual right before my work out. Also, I drank an SAA during my workout which seemed to have helped too!
