Above i have listed a ton of stickies that are very good reads. Whether you have questions about workout routines, diet, bodyfat estimates, losing fat, supplementation or competing in powerlifting for the first time, the stickies above answer all your questions.
If you are just starting out, i suggest you first pick a workout routine depending on what your goals are. Whether it be bodybuilding, powerlifting, or just strength training. If you are starting out i would suggest starting strength. If you are an intermediate or have a year or two of lifting under your belt i would try madcows 5x5. Then maybe wendlers 5 3 1. There a ton of routines you can choose from.
I would now go to the "Anything regarding Nutrition topic" and read "Calculating calories and macros"
You now have a routine to follow and you should now know the basic understanding of calories and macros and you should be tracking them.
There are plenty of other topics in here that are very useful.
Good luck in reaching your goals: Stay consistent, train hard, eat right, and you guys will reach your goals

For those of you needing help with Starting Strength Farley has a great Q and A thread:

I highly recommend you read through the SS question thread by Farley even if you have no intention of using SS. there is some solid advice in there about the big lifts and programming in general.
Other than that if you got any questions i am leaving the "Stupid Questions" thread in the stickies as well so ask there. dont let the title scare you lol they will help you out :D
