I think very. Very very very.
I believe it makes your hands stronger as well. Like your flexors are not afraid to be strong because they are balanced.

can make a big difference - generally if your getting tendon pain inbetween your knuckles you need to train your extensors more
Pinching actually works the extensors adequately. It can only help to train them specifically though.
My suggestion would be to get a wrist roller and do lots of work with it. Nothing balances the forearms quite like a solid WR routine.
