Who uses a george foreman? Is it any good? Why? What model do you have?
I use one durring the winter when actual grilling is not as fun. I'm not sure what model I have but I would like a new one. With mine you can set the time but it only has one heat setting. With the one heat setting I have to flip chicken breast every min or so or they will burn.
I use it 3-4 times a day. Not sure what model it is. Possibly the greatest invention ever made.
I have one..it is decent. Wouldn't ruin a steak on one...but for chicken and burgers it is good.
I prefer to grill and only use my foreman when it's too cold to step outside or the grill is covered in snow
i use one- its a bit on the small side, but it gets the job done. About all i cook on it is white meat chicken, and fish fillets- no breading, only dry seasonings.. Often i do this 3 times a day.
I'm happy with it, overall. I will let you know that you have to keep an eye on your chicken- if you overcook it, it gets tough. And the upper heating surface tends to get hotter than the lower one- probably because the heat from the lower one rises upwards and adds to the heat of the upper one- thats my guess, anyway. Oh, and the chicken will go from half done to completely done quickly, and to overdone even faster. so keep an eye on it!
I'm sure you could cook other meats, and veggies on it too, but i havn't had much experience with that.
I do plan to buy another one as soon as my current one wears out, and at the rate i'm going- it'll probably be by the end of the year.
One of the nice things i like about these grills is that once its cooked, you can look at the contents of the drip tray, and feel good that you're purposely bypassing the ingestion of all that unnecessary fat, not that theres that much on skinless chicken breats in the first place.
Untill i hit my plateau (damnit!) i was dropping a solid ten pounds of pure fat a month by using the foreman 3 times a day. Total, i've lost 50 pounds of body fat! thanks Georgie!

I love my Foreman grill, I use it in my dorm whenever I don't want to go over to the cafeteria to eat. Fast grilling and easy to clean. I have the GRP4P, it was $41 at Wal-Mart.
I've got the smallest model, but I'm looking to upgrade soon. The teflon's wearing down on mine. I'll likely buy the larger model with removeable trays next time. I'm moving to my own place soon and I want to be able to grill without using the communal apartment bbq pits.
I use one and LOVE it. I swear if I didn't have that thing I would starve to death. My apartment complex wont let us have real grills, but the Foreman is really fast, much easier to clean, and lets you see all the nastiness you AREN'T eating.
I use mine so much, some of the teflon is worn away on the bottom. I'm going to get a new one with the removable plates soon.
Oh yeah, if you get one, be sure to flip the food every couple of minutes or so. Even cooking gets you better taste and even doneness plus it looks better too).
I have one.. use it all the time when its cold outside or raining. I love the thing.. it cooks meat in no time.
are they cheap?
i dont really like foremans, i feel like it makes my chicken breast too dry every time, and i take it off right when it cooks all the way through
OMG i love these things, i dont acutally use a george forman..they are sort of hard to clean....i have a hamilton beach grill, you just remove the plates and put them in dish washer and its clean, and empty the grease.....
man does it make a MEAN chicken breast....!!!!!!
i use it EVERY day....

Tha George is real easy to clean - paper towel (folded) add hot water, wipe down
I have used them for several years . . . got the new one with the adjustable temp and removable plates last year for Xmas. Clean up is so much easier when you can remove the grills and scrub them in the sink (or run them through the dishwasher). I use mine all the time and think it's great.
I cook most of my meat and fish on the foreman. I have one of the newer models its the large silver one.
if GF is not fat i will use it.
I love the George Foreman.
That being said I hate cleaning the George Foreman so much that it outweighs my love for cooking on it. Havent used mine in a long time.
use mine all the time to cook my chicken just hate cleaning it lol might have to invest in a new one with removable plates.
I normally only do chicken on it
The one I have has to be the smallest one they make, I plan on getting a larger one soon.
i do have one but now I'd rather use a cast iron grill pan. i get a juicier chicken breast from it and I can get cris-cross grill marks on it and look like im grilling chicken like a pro!
plus you can control the temperature as apposed to just "on" like the gf grill.
I also have a george foreman rotisserie. you can make a good whole chicken with it.
i'm not a fan of them...i had one a few years ago and detested it. made my chicken dry and tough. i'd rather cook my chicken in a pan on the stove on low heat to retain juice and flavor if i don't feel like going outside to the grill. besides, standing there to turn it every minute is lame, i have **** to do besides being a slave to my chickens. I tried a steak on it one time...flat out ruined it...tasted like it had been boiled.
if it happens to be your only option for cooking chicken...damn, i'm sorry. i mainly used mine to make some bombass sammiches because imo, that's all it's good for...holy crap i made some super tastey ones!!
yeah its awesome, if you cook steaks on it though trow some aditional black pepper and some salt.
Cut tomatoes + load of pepper + steak = :)
Got the small cheap one, cleaning is fast and easy :D
If you dont like chicken its gd, it wont taste like anything lol
I used to use one but didnt like the clean up. Now i use the gas grill, 89$ walmart for everything. Its very handy and takes about 15 minutes for all my meals for the whole week.
Steak, chicken, pork, turkey italian sausage. Zip lock it all then add veggies and you are in.
I love it. Strangely, I dude from Iraq told me how cool it is to cook everything on it.
I'm on my 2nd one
I use my George Forman EVERY single day and I love it.
I haven't used it in a long time, but a little trick I've used that makes clean a ton easier is I place a peice of aluminum foil on both sides. Just remove and toss it out after. Makes clean up a breeze.
It stinks up my whole fuking kitchen.. I don't know what to do about the damn thing. I'm thinking about putting it outside.
i use mine all the time. its great. easy and quick. i have the medium sized one. usually on sunday ill cook 12 chicken breast, 3 small steaks, and ill cook 3-4 bags of frozen veggies. last me pretty much all week. and i write down the nutritional info and macro break down on each container.
Speaking of grills, Kmart will have a Hamilton Beach model for half price on Black Friday. It's 100 sq inches with adjustable heat up to 500 degrees for searing. Will be on sale for $29.99.
