Best Pre-Workout?
What you brahs use? I've never bought an actual pre-workout before. Creatine and sometimes Glutamine I would take (mainly just creatine) during certain stretches bt never a proprietary blend of any ingredients like that. Sometimes there would be a free sample or something, but that's it. They always put in work. So now I'm looking to buy for an edge in all training. Any suggestions or standout products you brahs have been lucky enough to discover?
Caffeine (not too high of dosage preferably moderate)
Electrolytes
^^^Those two I think should be essential I would think. Anything else I'll consider a plus if it's in there but a simple pre-workout is what I'm looking for

Black coffee. Preworkouts are a huge waste of money imo.

I used OutLift for a while but it got stale so I upgraded to OutLift Amped and it's better, the addition of Kaff2 Citrate alongside the typical caffeine anydrous allows it to last longer and feed you energy more steadily rather than all at once at the beginning. Really though my tolerance is stupid and nothing but DMAA is going to sate my stim cravings at this point. But I have sleep problems so I'm reluctant.
But if you're looking for something simple, seriously just buy caffeine powder to temper your dose to preference and mix it with potassium salt.

One of the Best workouts was after i ate a pizza and a burger(also a nap before).
The single handed best was with a supplement brought from bodybuilding.com 14 years ago... not sold anymore.
Now a days dried potato mash in a shaker works as good as a regular pwo.

I use Pulse by Legion Athletics. I used to use Pre-X by Sheer Strength labs but the DMAE Bitartrate was increasing my anxiety - even with JUST a scoop. I like Pulse because with just six ingredients, it's a very bare bones product. It contains 350mgs of Caffeine Anhydrous per scoop yet no crash after you're finished training. I also prefer pre's that don't contain creatine of any kind and Pulse fits the bill for sure.

Black coffee works best for me half an hour or so before a workout. I've always wanted to try it with l-citrulline to increase muscle pumps and vasodilation. I think I'll do that soon.
