What are some examples of successful short body builders?
Would I be able to compete if I put on some size?
What's a good goal weight (no time limit) for someone my height?

Franco Columbo. 5'5" Thread.
90% of ifbb pros. lolz
srsly 5'7-5'9 is average in ifbb, most top guys are manlets.
wow his off season weight is 255 competition is like 235, thats insane for some my height, i cant imagine hitting 200 lb.
David Henry is 5'6

Almost all former Mr. Olympia's are under 6'0 I believe. I know a guy that's 5'0 135 lbs in competition season and he looks better than anyone on the stage. He got his pro card a year ago too! Manlet bb'ers ftw.
not many ifbb above 6"
its not at all too short, its a good hight

strong outtie bellybutton.
It's much easier for shorter people to 'visually' gain mass, that is why most BB'ers are somewhat short.
i'm 5'8. have been since 5th grade when i stopped growing lol (@ about 115lb then). im at 202 now so yeah, it can be done.
Actually, the shorter you are, the easier it is to fill your frame.

Barely under 6'0, maybe. Arnold is the only one over 6'0, but Dorian Yates, Lee Haney, Ronnie Coleman, and Sergio Oliva are all 5'11, and they make up 32 of the 44 past Mr. Olympia's. All in all short people typically look more "cut" and can lift more weight than taller people, but by no means have short people dominated the Mr.Olympia title.
shorter people lift weights easier.
Shorter people are shorter
Nothing like a swole, small man. But hey if they can't be as big might aswell be as wide.

Exactly, lots are 5'11. To me it looks like taller people are more cut to me, I guess because they have a bigger bone structure. I'm probably wrong but I'm a manlet with tiny bones and I'm not cut/vascular whatsoever. :(
The Smaller you are the better you can look faster, your legs and arms are short, so if you get them stubby you'll look good. Rather than a lengthy guy that takes longer to fill out his long arms and what not.
I say compensate for you height.....lol

I'm in awe. Is there a way to get like that without the use of steroids, now that is the question.

lee priest
Me ;)!
Like everyone else is saying the shorter you are the easier it is to fill your frame. Sucks for me since i'm almost 6'5 and im only 16. I'd need about 40+ more pounds of muscle just too looked buff. But, personally when I get stronger i don't want to look filled out i just want to look scronny and rep high numbers :]
competing at ur hight is not unrealistic but shoot for around 230 id say
short people are short
i'm 5'4 and i'm finding it ****ing hard to fill my frame as my limbs are so long but yeah lats looks pretty big in comparison however :)
