You 16. You should not be concerning yourself with such things.
Stick with Mono.
One is a vasodilator and the other isn't. I wouldn't recommend either at your age.
drink lots and lots of fluids..real real fun dietary stuffing
Creatine Nitrate vs Monohydrate. Whats the benefits of either one?
Monohydrate is monohydrate. Creatine nitrate elicits the benefits of monohydrate, plus increased bioavailability, with the addition of significantly enhanced NO distribution and enhanced co-ingested nutrient uptake. Enhanced NO distribution also enhances skeletal muscle force production and growth.

hopefully that didn't fly over the OP's head.

Do you have any [valid] explanations as to why he should ''stick'' with an inferior creatine?
Do you have any [valid] explanations as to why he should ''stick'' with an inferior creatine?
Just at 16 I didn't think he would need to concern himself with expensive supplements.
I'm not bashing C-bol by any means, I have a bottle on order now.
I just feel at the age he should be more concerned with his diet and training program than which creatine he thinks he needs.
Creatine mono has research backing it, nitrate may be a novel idea, but honestly I don't see any research on it.

nitrates are one of the most studied compounds in the medical field. there's really no argument here.

Please post study on creatine nitrate.

In for this answer.
side note:NO HYPE, what are your thoughts on a 16 yr old using creatine. Be it positive or negative, I respect your knowledge and I cant 100% say go ahead and use it. However, I dont see a reason why not too. I dont believe in loading though, regardless of age, and when I say loading I mean the 20g a day stuff. I dont see any issues up maybe say 10 g. But honestly, that's just an arbitrary number that seems safe to me rather than being able to back it up with real reasoning as why to do that other than linear reasoning.
edit:not just linear reasoning, personal experience as well.
Please post study on creatine nitrate.
Why ask for studies on creatine nitrate when you know damn well creatine nitrate is in it's infancy?
The logic is quite simple actually. Take all the studies/benefits on creatine monohydrate... then combine them with the [established] clinical efficacy of nitrates. 1+1 = 2

unlike blends that claim to give creatine better absorption/uptake etc...the effects of creatine nitrate do not extend beyond the intended purposes of each compound on its own.
dont really need a study, it would be quite pointless.
For me its a 1-2 punch because you get the added protein synthesis from the creatine, and the nitrogen retention from the nitrate bond.
short answer for the OP
creatine nitrate will give you more pumps and slight strength increases compared to mono. If you are talking about c-bol, which i assume you are as that is the only creatine nitrate that i am aware of at the moment, then c-bol also has some other stuff to help with pumps and also contains orotic acid, which is proven to help increase ATP production and give better strength gains. Apparently, according to my orotine bottle, orotic acid also increases natural beta alanine production. Don't really know how that works exactly, though.
And to the people saying creatine is bad at 16, it really isn't. Creatine can be used properly at any age really for teenagers, and yeah he probably doesn't need it, but it's not like it is going to hurt. Technically, nobody needs creatine, but it still definitely helps, no matter what exact age you are.
NO HYPE, what are your thoughts on a 16 yr old using creatine.
I see nothing but benefit for creatine supplementation [even at 16]. Additionally, the only thing that 20-gram loading dosages will do is elicit quicker intramuscular PCr saturation.

i'm a technicality, i need my meatz!
(no homo)
We've heard all this before but it does sound intriguing. Anyone know what company has filed the patent for Creatine Nitrate?

Thermolife has the patent.
NO HYPE. I see what you mean, I stand corrected on that issue.

That's what I figured. I personally dont like the stomach discomfort associated with loading at that level. 10g a day never seemed to cause physical discomfort for myself at least.
Anyone ever combine cbol with a preworkout n.o product or with something like glycergrow?
Just at 16 I didn't think he would need to concern himself with expensive supplements.
Well I think the cost is a decision he is better off making on his own.No reason to miss out on the superior benefits of creatine nitrate if he can in fact afford it.
I just feel at the age he should be more concerned with his diet and training program than which creatine he thinks he needs.
Well doesn't creatine fit into the category of diet & trainning?

There are two products by SAN that also contain creatine nitrate; one is Fierce, the other is CM2 Nitrate.
There are two products by SAN that also contain creatine nitrate; one is Fierce, the other is CM2 Nitrate.
So SAN is using the Thermolife Creatine Nitrate in their products?
So SAN is using the Thermolife Creatine Nitrate in their products?
yep, we license it from them in the 2 products mentioned above!
what is an optimal dose for CN? is the 1g in CM2 enough to elicit an appreciable difference?
