my arms have gotten much stronger over the last 6 months but they are still the same size. Not to mention, im told they look big, but in reality they are only a little over 16 inches, and in my opinion, narrow. Now that my body has gotten a lot bigger, they dont look any near as out of proportionly big as they used to, which is what id LOVE. What can i do to get some real arm size
even if it was, which im prety sure its the same, i wouldnt have any way of really knowing for sure. but i dont think thats it
Can u just tell me what you have been training with those arms, because dude!!! You have absolutly nothing to worry about. What is 16inches in cm. We dont use inches.

You have lot in common with me in liking the big arm look.
Go careful here, as a lot of guys will have a go at you for not trying to be in proportion.
But if you like that look and I certainly do, ignore them! it's your body.
Mine were stuck at 17 inches for ages and the only whey I got them growing again was with working the triceps twice a week. Concentrate on the triceps for a fuller look to your arms.
BTW 16 inches is a good size, I remember reading the average arm size for a guy is only around 14.

your arms are 16''. do you expect them to grow 1/2 an inch every 6 months? that means you'll be walking around with 30'' arms when your 25!!! be patient.
what exercise are you doing?
lol well id expect SOME results, it used to be much quicker.
what i used to do was 4 sets of whichever bicep work out i wanted that day, every workout.
now i cut it down and put in an entire day for arms...which will be today actualy, of whichever exercise i feel wen i get there, 10 sets of 10, and 2 sets of 10 with preacher curls afterwords
cut out the 10x10 and 2x10 for a while and focus on heavy bb curls, heavy db curls, and heavy cable curls - 2-3 sets at 6 reps each. give it 6 months and then come back to 10x10 and 2x10.

Agree with above, if you have been doing 10x10 for awhile. (Can't tell if you just started them or what.) The strength cycle will give neural, and myofibular gains. After that start the 10x10 cycle for a few weeks to get sarcoplasmic (fluid, glycogen, nutrients) gains.

I must agree with Bxbombers, your arms will not grow overnight. I think at 5'9" 175lbs and being only 17, our 17" arms are something to be proud of. How many other kids walking around high school have defined 17" arms? Anyway, I would certainly incorporate into your routine, some close grip bench, reverse cable curls, and skull crushers, all in the 4 to 6 rep range. In addition the more muscle mass you add to your body, the larger your arms will get too.
