I know everyone says abs are made in the kitchen, low bodyfat, I'm not arguing with that.
I'm confused about ab training. Does training abs benefit visibility?
If your bodyfat is low enough, would working abs or not make them bigger/more visible?

Yes.
Correct. Makes them look a lot nicer!
Okay thanks guys!
it would definitely make them more visible, but training abs would also give you a strong foundation for other exercises so it's important to work them

diet is extremely important, 75% minumum of the work, buttt yeah it defo gives them a nicer overall shape, so try to get those leg raises in at least 100 rep's at the end of workout day, they WILL make a good visable difference so do them ;)

Wat.
working abs builds mass, cutting reduces bodyfat.
having a strong core is very important regardless of anything else.
its like saying good looking biceps are made in the kitchen...... obviously low body fat makes em look better but if their little tic tac abs no amount of dieting is gunna change that
Training abs will also harden your abs giving them a much more defined look, but as you said yourself diet and also doing some running will help you on your way to nicer abs.
