This is the most amazing and inspiring gym I've ever been a part of. The first day I walked in to inquire about membership. I was shown a sign on the wall with instructions. So basically, you put $25 in an envelope with your name and phone number in a lockbox mounted to the wall. The next day, there's a key to the front door in an envelope with your name on it pinned to the wall. That's it. Put 25 more bucks in the box every month, or your name goes on the wall. This "honor system" creates almost a social club-like loyalty. People pitch in and keep the gym clean; everybody's cool... There's a camaraderie that I've never seen anywhere else. I've since moved away, but I miss that little gym. I kept my key as a symbol that one day I'll return to that gym!
