The latest piece (until my sleeve anyway :D ) The words mean, "Hence the Brighter Honour", which is the motto of the Buchanan clan, which Gibson is a sept under.
The thistles represent who I am as a person, as well as my Scottish heritage... prickly, and hard to get close to, but also beautiful in an unorthodox way.
