Motivation is my driving force. I can be motivated one day and use that to propel my workforce, but on most days I have to cope with stable rhythms. I haven't found the secret to the "switch", but have been diligent managing on and off days. Recognizing when i'm motivated has made it easier for me to break through challenging plateaus.
