How about some more info on your tendon injury Rachel; more specifics.
You may be going crazy not doing cardio -you are one of the few who would miss it and that's great for you- but you also don't want to be like an NFL wide receiver and get back working the injured hammy to soon and have it nag you constantly throughout the season, or in your case, just lingering.
I see on your page that you are into the boot camp style of training which is probably a little bit more of an explosive type of cardio than the standard elyptical, treadmill and stariclimber exercises that are offered in most gyms.
Perhaps changing your training routine to something a little safer/less-impact/stress while you rehab will allow you to get back into the cardio mix with out taking too much risk of re injury. For example, you may have to take out sprints (if you were doing them) and replace it with a slower pace, less impact exercise like the cylindric motion of the elyptical machine and just go for a low intensity longer duration session. Perhaps this will allow you to get your cardio fix.
I would also caution against over training, cardio-wise too. You obviously have a love for cardio, which most of us lack (especially me), but just like with weight training, you can also over train your body with cardio or the boot camp exercises.
I'm sure you have thought about all of this already, but that's my input on the matter.
Good luck with your recovery and training!
