Hey ladies! I would like some feedback on your tanning regimes. I am surrounded by women doing the figure competitons and am only getting their routines, they swear by it, but I am very afraid I will be too dark if I follow it. Our division doesn't need to be as dark right? At least all the pics I have seen none of the girls in our division are as dark?!

Well, it's hard to get too dark for the stage for figure, but you don't have to go that dark for bikini. Typically, only 2 coats of Pro Tan at most. Amanda Latona just won FLEX Bikini contest and she had 2 coats of ProTan on. Her tan was perfect on stage. I feel my best tan is 2 coats as well

Don't forget to exfoliate

Start out 2 weeks ahead of scheduled shoot or show with a light exfoliation daily, So you don't have to exfoliate heavily the day of and possibly miss spots.

I would suggest buying this one particular sponge and use it every day instead of before a show. I am not sure what the name of this sleeve is, but I buy it Walgreens and it's always on one of those out of place hooks attached to the shelves. I'll buy 4 at at time when I see it and place in all the bathrooms, one in my gym bag and one for the road. Lately, they've been blue. I think I will go to the store today to see if they have any and let you know

This has been one of my tanning secrets long before I started competing. It's how I've always made my spray on tans look so clean, even and natural.
