what, if any supplements people are taking. i personally, am on all mhp supplements. sarm-x, t-bomb II, dren, dark rage and dark matter round out my regimen. wonder what peoples results, and such are.

I'm always hesitant to buy expensive supplements. Currently, I only use whey protein powder, fish oil, multi-vitamins, and just added pure creatine. I am a full week into the creatine and I have a blog following my progress.

I'm looking for a pre-workout to try and I avoid thermogenics and fat-burners like the plague! But that's just me.

iSatori Morph (pre-workout)
Primordial Performance instantized Branch Chain Amino Acids
Higher Power Creatine Ethyl Ester
The branch chains and creatine REALLY help me recover from my strength training workouts. I don't take them on Cardio days.

Keep it simple. Protein,creatine and multi-vitamins is all i use. I have added an Arginine supplament that is the basis of the No2 products. Its cheaper and provides the same function. Im at the beginning of my workout so i will be marking my progress i go.

I haven't incorported any fat burners yet, but i was researching them. I got mixed reviews so I think I'll just pass on them for now until I find something thats right for me.

Just multivitamin and some mineral supplements.
I am really skeptical about fat burners. There is a little unpaid (not paid by drug companies) research that suggests that the benefits are marginal, about 1.2 lbs over a four-week period on obese subjects. It is not worth taking in all those foreign substances in them.
Another unpaid research has also found that in a comparative study where the control group drank 5-6 cups of pure green tea instead of taking the fat burner the experimental group was taking, the effects of green tea resulted in higher weight loss, about 1.4 lbs more over a 6 week period again in obese subjects.
I have not seen a study that compares cardio to fat burners but I feel like adding a second 20 min cardio session might do wonders.
Question: What exactly is ceratine supposed to do? I have never completely figured that out.

Creatine is naturally made by our Liver and helps with Protein syntasis if im not mistaken. So far no bad conclusions in any particular study has been claimed. It boosts power during workouts and helps build the muscles up.
As for the fat burner stuff, yes green tea extract is actually great for u and is usually in fat burner blends. Its a natural thermogenic. Studies are one thing cuz when it comes down to it everybody has different body chemistry so if it doesnt work for u and all u need is an extra 20 min of cardio to lose extra fat then there ya go.
