the first two weeks, I put on about 8-10 lbs rather quickly, but now I'm going up and down 2 lbs every other day despite eating about 500 more calories and 20g extra protein than I was previously, and I'm doing heavier lifting as well. I haven't seen any real progress in terms of my weight in the past 2 weeks, so it's making me want to work harder.
for strength gains, I definitely see a huge difference from when I first started. I was barely able to do 1 pull-up with palms facing me, and now I can do about 20 of them using multiple grips. I was curling 15 lbs dumbbells and only getting to 6 reps before failure, and now I'm lifting 20 lbs and I'm able to do about 17 reps until failure. I need a better weight set, because these dumbbells only go up to 20 lbs each.
