If anyone has suggestions for spurring new growth after hitting the doldrums, let's hear it. I've just started shocking my arms with a bunch of new routines, and I'm leaving behind the old stand-bys like seated curls and pressdowns for a while. Instead, going heavy with close-grip lying presses supersetting with palm-up bent over barbell rows. Heavy. Heavy. Heavy. Then heavier. After four or five sets of those, I'm done in. The results are encouraging. I'm feeling and seeing some new development in the bi's and tri's after a long lull. Also using the Smith machine for pressing movements and bar raises for delts. Also new and I think it's working.
