pull ups sets and reps

if the workout im on calls for 3 sets of 8 for most exercises and i can only get 3 reps per set on pull ups, should i stay at 3 sets or maybe do 8 sets of 3 to get the reps in? or would that be overkill? all comments appreciated.

Is it ok to do bench press and one hand pushups in the same workout?

I work out in my own home gym. Monday is bench press day. Wednesday is deadlift day. Friday is squat day. Now I was wondering, is it ok to do bench press and one hand pushups in the same workout on Monday? Same question for doing one arm chinups on deadlift day. I love all these exercises.
