Helping out my friend with deadlift and squats. He has bad form, tips for him to fix?

So I'm in no way a personal trainer, so I'm just helping him out based on my experiences. So my friend is pretty freaking tall, 6"5 170lbs. The problem with his deadlift is he hunches over when he lifts up the bar. I tell him to keep his chest up, and it does improve but he still starts with a...

Wink Two question about squatting

Hey guys, over the last few months I've transitioned to low bar and has felt much more natural to me. I'm very happy with form but I have a few questions: 1. I use a stance slightly wider than shoulder width and I try to keep my feet angled 30 degrees. Even though I foam roll my calves along with...

Lightbulb Does high reps build aesthetics and size while low builds the cns ?

I've had a few credible members say that low reps only builds your cns while high reps builds size and aesthetics. I always thought that low reps build size while high reps tones the muscle and make it more endurant. So ho does high reps build size and aesthetics and why is it so different from low...

Knees feel like they'll bend forward from stiff-legged deadlift

I enjoy doing deadlifts and really feel them when my sets are done. However, I may have weak knees because when I've lifted the bar it somehow feels like my knees are going to bend forward which of course if a big no for me. How can I counter this feeling?

Forearm exercises for a skinny guy?

I'm looking for some forearm exercises to add mass/strength to my forearms, which are embarassingly small. I've been doing various grip exercises thus far, plate grips, using a towel to grip barbells, but I'd also like to add some mass to my forearms. Any advice?

Why can't I lift weight? Should I begin with a specific exercise or eat something?

I joined my local gym and bought a membership in which they give me 6 lessons in different days. Today was my first session, and I feel ashamed knowing that I was not able to lift the bench press bar; it only had 10lbs on each side! I was not able to lift the bar that much or keep it at balance. ...
