box jumps

I have been doing box jumps lately as a part of a plyometric workout to increase my vertical. I was using a 2ft. box and jumping onto it and back down. As soon as I hit the ground, I would explode back up onto the box. This worked well, except I wasnt getting tired or feeling any burn unless I...

Would it be beneficial to do ALL exercises standing up (when possible) ??

For example, All forms of rows/OHP/raises etc. Is it worth doing them all standing for the added core/stability work ? Or does it really matter

Uneven Bench Press

When I do bench press, sometimes my left side goes up quickly, while my right side struggles. It only happens on my heaviest set when I get down to the last rep. Otherwise it's even. I do db presses and I'm fine on those. Is it because I'm close to my max? I've lowered the weight and it looks fine...

Question smith machine

i know, probably like the 50th smith machine thread. I usually do flat dumbbell presses because I have no spotter at the gym to do regular bench. In addition to that, maybe after it, can I do incline presses on the smith machine for like, extra?

Any useful info on Dumbell Overhead Shoulder Flies?

Looking to switch up the routine a bit and was considering this. From what I've gathered so far it'll isolate both front and middle delts, and theres two different grips, Palms in(facing each other) and palms out(palms facing out/forward). Been googling it and theres not alotta info on it, so was...

Replacing Squat/Deadlift with a trap bar

There is obviously trap bar deadlift which is in the middle of these 2. But 1 exercise never fully does the work of 2 -- so what else should I sub in? I have dumb bells as well. At the moment the plan is trap bar lunges.

Bench press barbell

I bench with a fairly close grip, for some reason when I widen my grip I get a little more pressure on my left shoulder. Is it something I'm doing wrong? When I narrow my grip I don't get any pain/twing.

Sumo vs Conventional Deadlift

So I have already injured myself twice on the conventional deadlift. Both times were related to bad form and I have just recently started them up again. My form is now pristine as I have read every article and watched every youtube video I could find on the subject of form. That being said, I have...

Reverse Grip Bench Question:

Question What results can I expect from this routine?

Hi there I use the orbitrek for about 70 minutes a day ( 10 - 15 minutes a session) and follow each orbitrek session with 100 ab roller reps. I'm studying from home atm. I'm just trying to burn a few centimeters of my abdomen. Will this routine be enough to do so? Or do I need to do sit...

Miltary press or seated db press

Is it true that standing OHP is more of a compound exercise than the seated version? I've been doing db seated press for a while but because I'm a beginner do you think it would be better to do the OHP as works more muscles? Just be clear my main goal is muscle building with strength as a by...

DB fly vs. bench press

Following my most recent workout, I'm starting to believe that for building chest strength, the dumbbell fly is much better than the bench press. It kinda makes sense. The function of the pectoralis major is to "flex, adduct and rotate the arm medially." The bench press accomplishes this, but it...

Running vs rowing cardio, huge difference in efficiency

When I row, I'm much more efficient than when I'm doing any kind of walking/running cardio, but the difference is staggering. Obviously I'm going to be better at what I primarily train, but I never thought the difference would be this much. For example, if I'm rowing at an intensity of 700 kcal...
