I need help building up my forearm muscle mass!

I've tried several different things (light weight/high reps, pre-exhaustion, etc.) and was wondering if anyone had any advice? Maybe try fat grips or a fat bar? And yes my nutrition/supplementation/rest is on point. Thanks in advance!

Anterior Pelvic Tilt and also Butt tuck in squats

I have noticed that I have an anterior pelvic tilt, which has probably come from so much sitting down over the years, and my choice of workouts (did a lot of crunches). At the same time I have been told that my form on the squat is good, until I get near to parallel where my lower back starts to...

Cortisol and intense excercise

"Intense (high VO2 max) or prolonged physical exercise stimulates cortisol release to increase gluconeogenesis and maintain blood glucose."-from wikipedia So does that mean playing basketball for 3 hours often causes my cortisol levels to rise and catabolize muscle? Also, wouldn't working out...

Are the people friendly? Do the staff make you feel welcome? Does everyone stare? Lol just in general does your gym make you feel comfortable?

Not feeling hamstrings and glutes in deadlift

Hello! For a while ago I pulled 462lbs x3 in the deadlift. But I feel that I don't get any contact in my hamstrings nor glutes and always after the next days, I only feel sore in lowerback and upper back (traps etc.), never in the legs what I can remember. Also on heavier weights my knees...

Help finding a gym

I'm gonna get back and start lifting again after a couple of years break. Any cheaper options than just 24 hour fitness? Its where I use to always go to lift. I honestly just need a squat rack, bench, and a barbell + free weights, anything else is extraneous to me. I'm in Austin, texas.

At what point to squat and deadlift during workout?

I was reading an article on Muscular Development about Dorian Yates and his traditional back routine. Yates states that he always deadlifts at the very end of his routine. I found this interesting becuase most routines that I have seen that include deadlifts have you do them at the beginning, with...

Best book, WWW or e-Resource

For exercises, I don't mean the one's that are displayed on BB.com with minimal information. I want a detail description of how to perform the main exercises with correct form for maximum muscle growth and the effects of using a different technique. For instance, something that explains the DB...

Range of Motion . . . should I lower weight and use full ROM?

Quick question. For most exercises, I use the range of motion that specifically targets the area...for example. Doing dumbbell chest press, I get the weights up, lower them till my arms are parallel with the floor, then raise them again. I do NOT go down till the dumbbells touch the chest. ...

Low-bar squat just kills my shoulders/back

I've been doing high-bar squatting for the past year, but have wanted to switch to low-bar to be able to handle heavier loads and to recruit more posterior chain muscles. However, putting the bar down further on my back, raising the elbows up really causes the bar to "dig in" against my...

My chest shape is really weird.

Hey. I've been training for a few months now. Everything is fine except for my chest, which is kinda feminine. It's lagging behind in terms of size, but the main issue is its shape: going outward, very round, no mass in the middle. I can't bench press because it ****s up my back. Probably...

Deadlift Advice

So I'm 6'3" and I've got some pretty long legs. I have an issue doing deadlifts, here's the deal: Basically, if I set up close enough to the bar to pull all the strain off of my back, I'm too close and have to move the bar forward during the lift to clear my knees and it kills my lower back to...
