Good evening fit fam. Chest and triceps today for my Thursday lunch escape. Strength and isolation. Here's how it went. Did: 4 sets of cable iron crosses (facing the machine), 4 sets of cable crossovers, 4 sets of seated chest press (independent arm movement), 4 sets of pec flies on the pes deck, 4 sets of Hammer Strength Iso-lateral "wide chest", 4 sets of overhead triceps rope extensions (low and leaning forward), 4 sets of seated triceps pushdowns, and 4 sets of two arm DB triceps kickbacks with a hammer curl finish. Happy numbers for today were: 135 lbs x 10 on the pec flies and 180 x 10 on the "wide chest". Looking forward to my freestyle Friday and wrapping up this abbreviated week! All I can think is about you,how I can never speak to you or call you ever again. I think that's the hardest part about all of this. You were only 68. I don't know if I can adjust to this change. You stopped me years ago from committing suicide when I was 15, where I had PSTD that someone caused me. I used to wake up screaming every night,you were right there when I was screaming from nightmares. I stopped sleeping and eating. I was so afraid of sleeping. In my 20s, I had attempted again because I couldn't handle feeling a certain way,I felt like I was burdened to all around me because of my depression that I wasn't being fair to everyone around me by staying.. Because of you again, I got help, and I got better. I recall you begging me not to kill myself. Your pleeds and tears. Here I am, married with kids,you aren't here anymore. I feel like a piece of me is gone.ð

All the inner work that Iâve done, really opened up my eyes to the trauma I went through and what I had come to know as love. A version I never want my future kids to ever experience.
The being yelled at and threatened by a significant other.
Iâve started working through research on healthy relationships; which all of our relationships are massively influenced by the relationship we first had with our parents.
My father had bipolar disorder and my mother always had to keep the household together.
But part of healing is knowing what patterns from childhood need to be broken in order to live healthier.
For example, feeling like you have to look or act a certain way in order to be loved, is not love.
Love is unconditional.
Love is freeing.
Love is supportive.
