Keto and strenght training

Getting very confused about this topic! Will getting in to a ketogenic diet negatively affect my strenght training? Training wrestling and some powerlifting, 5-6 days a week. Dont want to loose my strenght... Need to loose quite a bit of fat, and basically if eat carbs - i tend to eat way too...

Is keto basically starving?

well im 190lbs go gym so a high metablism I eat 200/20/80 a day (1600), but still feel quite hungry towards the end of the day i feel im starving myself. Since fats are dense so youre not really getting that much /cal than carbs, say.

What's the point of keto?

If the GI is easily disrupted by other foods and many non carb foods, like whey, can have just the same impact on blood glucose levels, then what is the point of this diet. If you have a relatively normal and healthy metabolism, it makes no sense to embark on such a diet.
