Sticky Thread Sticky: Official vertical/jumping/dunking thread POST ALL VERT QUESTIONS HERE

Anyone tried this program? They have a sale on goes down to $49 and I was thinking about picking it up. Seems about as legit as any one of these training systems. "Grow Taller Overnight" made me question this guys product though.

How tall are you and can you dunk?

Yes, I'm sure this has been posted many times before. No, I don't care. I'm interested to see how tall the people that can dunk are, and how tall the people that can't dunk are. I'm only 5'7", maybe 5'8", and I'm almost able to dunk on a 9.5ft, and then after that I'll work up to standard...

Post kingmode's Basic Football / Sports Training Guide

Question Cutting for wrestling

I have a question regarding the value of cutting weight for wrestling. What is the point to losing a lot of weight? I can understand losing enough so you can wrestle at a weight with a desirable body fat. But there was this one guy on our team who weighed 155 pounds and cut down to 125. He lost...

Overtraining/CNS fatigue recovery

Has anybody out there actually reached an overtrained state and/or CNS fatigue? If so, I’d like to hear about how you recovered and your recovery protocol. I can’t find much info on recovery methods - mostly avoidance of overtraining. But that's not much help if you successfully trained for a...

Why Olympic lifters/powerlifters can beat world class sprinters in the 20 yards

A olympic lifter could be capable of squatting 3 times his body weight full olympic style. Some sprinters can squat 2x their body weight to parallel, or under around 2.5x. So example here, a 200 pound lifter squats 600 pounds ATG, the sprinter such as Tyson Gay (168 pounds) (2007 world...
