Can anyone help me find a competition trainer/coach?

I'm actually surprised at how difficult this seems to be. I'm not looking for a standard trainer, I've gone through 2. And both actually compete in lifting. I'm looking for a trainer/coach who has experience specifically training competitors. Preferably female competitors. They know exactly what...

Leg exercises that are easy on the knees

Hello! I am just getting into lifting and I am running into a bit of an issue. I'm currently rehabbing a knee injury that makes exercises like squats and lunges really painful. I'm getting ready to start Week 2 Jamie Eason's Livefit plan and I want to make Leg Day as effective as possible...

Hi there. Let me preface this post by saying I'm not a bodybuilder. I'm just a regular run-of-the-mill chick. I'm 37 years of age, 5'3" and weigh 55kg. I have very little muscle mass and look soft. I know that I have some body fat to lose, but generally will only look better by increasing my...

Thumbs up Glute/ham exercises?

Looking to build up the glute/ham backview. What are your favorite exercises for building that area? I'm already doing weighted glute bridges, deadlifts, ham curls, cable kickbacks, weighted squats and lunges and eating in a surplus. What exercises could I add to help build this area up?

Hi ladies, I'm a newbie here, and I'm hoping you can enlighten me with your wisdom! As you can see by my attached picture, I have a banana roll underneath one of my butt cheeks. I know I can't spot reduce fat...I'm pretty lean anyway, but this bulge is damn stubborn. No matter how clean I...

Resistance bands

I'm looking into getting some resistance bands to add to my workouts. Does anyone have any suggestions on ones they've used and liked? I'd like to use them to help with pull ups, and maybe to try out some new movements with bands instead of weights (bench press, squats, etc).

Unhappy I have a small frame but I want to lift heavier weights!

Ladies, I'm hoping you can help me with some advice. I'm 5'8, 135 lbs, 16% BF. After being a long distance runner for 4 years, I've turned to lifting after becoming bored with running and being stick thin. I have an itch to become stronger. It's been a year now that I've been lifting but over...
