Weight training and cardio questions.

Progress protein question.

Right now I am 112 pounds started at 92 in November. I'm not sure how much protein I am supposed to consume now. My gains have been slowing down. That's normal from high noob gains right? Smile Anorexia Recovery, Nutrition and Training

Hey there! I'm new here and I was looking for some help. I'm a recovering anorexic (still in lots of therapy!) and I have struggled for years with eating enough and cutting back on exercise. I'm doing much better now, but I still am having trouble wrapping my head around this new lifestyle. I know...

Normal to feel more sore 2nd day post w/o?

I always seem to feel it more not the day after, but the second day after my workout. Is this normal? By that time it is usually time to get back in the gym (doing New Rules, stage one). So I am lifting 3 times a week. Thank goodness at least the workouts on that plan are alternating....but...

Cool Bret Contreras

I've recently started lifting and after hearing good things about Bret contreras I have researched and read practically everything he's ever written. One thing I'm not too sure on is his "glutes can be trained 6 days a week policy" - everything else I've ever read on weightlifting tells me to rest...

Help changing my routine

Hi all. I've been lifting weights (4 days a week) & doing cardio (3 days a week), and eating 'clean' fairly consistently for just over a year now. When I started last year, I saw great results within 6-7 months as I was working towards a goal of going away on holiday. After this, I had less to...

Exclamation Glute workout help!

I've come to notice that my glutes are my trouble area. I would like them to become larger and round. They aren't too bad but I have seen no progression except my bum getting smaller! Any workouts or exercises that might help me build a bigger butt would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Asymmetrical Glutes

Eta: I know being in a deficit I can not grow these muscles. That's not my intention right now. I'm more concerned that with my physical compensations I'm not able to work them symmetrically at the same time. But I think I might be in that newbie gains catagory too ;) End edit: This is...
