doctor saying too much protein in the long run is bad?

i came back from the doctors and he said we should only consume between 60-80g of protein a day. however, that is too low for a bodybuilder. i take protein shakes post workout and have no family history of kidney or liver damage. anyone have any opinions?

Get More Clients

I am fairly new to the industry (2-3 years) and I am trying to grow my business. I work as a free lance trainer, not for one of the big box gyms. What has worked for other trainers to get more PT and Boot Camp clients?

Question Can some not gain?

It seems almost impossible for me to gain muscle. If I eat clean and 250-500 calories over my maintenance level and get adequate protein intake and hit the gym very hard will I for sure get gains??? Or does it have to do with genetics. It almost seems as if my muscles litterally won't grow.
