Muscle Activation Technique

Anyone have opinion on these guys @ muscleactivation.com ? Just saw a long presentation from one of their trainers. Basically they do PNF in reverse. Instead of stretching or contracting a tight muscle, they isometrically contract the antagonist.

Tricep Pushdown Question

Sometimes when I do them I have to sort of pull my back down with it. Is this bad for my back? If so, is there a different tricep exercise that doesn't put my back at risk?

Arrow Self sufficient fitness

As trainers, do you want your clients to stick with you forever, or would you rather them become self sufficient? I believe in the latter. Yes, if they stay with me out of loyalty, or respect my knowledge and customized services, great! But I want people to become confident and versed enough in...

Warmup routine with clients

What does your usual warmup look like for clients? I'm considering changing mine as it takes a little too long. It looks like this: -5-10 min cardio warmup (usually on their own) -foam roll -muscle activation exercises -light warmup sets with the main exercise (body weight squats, etc)

Spotting

I've been thinking a lot about spotting lately. How important is it to always be spotting the client? I've been Cleared to Run and Jump

After breaking my leg I've been cleared to start running and jumping and the doctor said I will probably be able to play football. She also said that some people don't fully recover from a broken tib/fib, and they lose a tiny bit of speed. I'm turning 15 in a week and I'm supposed to grow...

So the first question: Say you have a client that's no stranger to the gym and is solid in terms of form, etc. You put them on a program that starts out with a total body circuit, done twice per week. After the first couple of weeks, how do you justify the appointments, rather than just simply...
