Im confused with the 2 diffrent ways of calculating calorie need! advice please.

I’m a lil confused, I know that if u wants a quick way to estimate my maintenance calories I can do this by taking my weight in lbs and multiplying by 14-16. e.g. 220 X 14 OR 16 = 3080 TO 3520 BUT I also know to get my calorie needs I can just take my weight in kgs 100/220lbs and multiply by 24....
